PM you guys need to split up more. You guys running all your raids at the same keep is just too much and killing PvP. You guys were just in TF and had an insane amount of reds at one location. That makes most players just switch campaigns or log out.

We were running 20 players when we went into TF last night...

Though there were most certainly a lot of other EP around. This tends to happen when pushing a keep on the emp ring.

This only usually happens when players say in zone "Need help at Alessia" or "need more EP at Alessia". From the looks of the turnout no one countered that by telling them to go away or attack another keep that might be DC's.

Maybe I'm still salty over it, probably am, but just a tad odd to me that almost every EP on the server (or so it seemed) happened to show up at the same keep at the same time and right when your group showed up. Anyway, I have to get my character(s) adjusted for PvE anyway cause of the new sets dropping so... probably a good time to take a break from PvP.

The only thing I said was via yell and that was something to the effect of "stop hitting the front door and help us seige the mine or farm side" There was a plethora of EP pugs farming the bridge when we showed up. We just helped them actually develop a sense of consciousness and not aimlessly run up to the front door :)

Well gee, thanks for your contribution in the death of PvP. Ever wonder why campaigns become a ghost town after your guild shows up and then alive again after you leave/switch? Hmmm... I wonder.

If that's contributing to the death of PvP I would happily contribute to it. Learn to play.

lmao, okay. I will go to school on how to take on 50 EP pretty much by myself. Is that in a Deltia video? Don't say learn to play unless you realize what the conversation is about :)

Nikolai even admitted that there was a ton of EP at Alessia. I filled two kill quests (almost three) at that keep with all the EP there, still got rolled over.

From what I can tell, there really wasn't any extended aggro or baiting in this most recent exchange until the screenshot post! Maybe some misinterpretation in the mix. People were lamenting the dissolution of organized raids / diminished possibilities for competitive guild fights, Kena (who runs smaller groups of very good players; didn't take any satisfaction from gunning you guys down in the Roe courtyard, btw, but it was toward the end of the night and we didn't trust that there would still be other people on to defend the keep) remarked on how distressing / depressing that situation was, and Nikolai suggested that Kena put an organized raid together to fight them.

Didn't pick up any provocation in that initial exchange! Maybe coming from someone else it could be interpreted in the sense of "U CALLIN ME OUT BRAH? COME 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 US IF U GOT WH@ IT TAKES", but my impression of the Nord is that he's a pretty straight shooter, not a boasty or bitter sort, plus totally willing to give props to his opponents which goes a long way these days. I think he was just inviting the challenge of an additional organized raid to fight, which is something most of us would appreciate! The wag 'n' shame seems like an excessive response here.

Thank you Joshua Warren! Yes I would personally love to see organized guilds. Steve, the person who made the original comment that started this tangent was a raid lead for VE who forced us to learn and get better. For those that say we need to get better run organized raids against that make us think and improve. With not as many to go around anymore our quality and improvement is more stagnant than I would like sometimes. That is part of the reason why came to haderus in the first place to shake things up :P

Maybe, maybe not. I am also guessing that even though PM saw way too many EP at the keep all of you stayed and helped? You could have split your own group up for the time being knowing that you probably didn't need your entire 20 man group on top of the 40 or so that were already there.

I realize the hate whispers happen, like Psilent said, my guild has gotten them in the past when we were bigger and ran with Noore but at the same time you could just say: "Okay, we seriously don't need all of us here. Group 1 stay here, group 2 go to objective X and group 3 do objective Y. After this keep we will meet up at Z and decide where to go next."

I am not trying to bash you guys in any way, even though it seems like I am. I am just an avid PvPer who wants Cyrodiil to remain a great and fun place. What hurt PvP is the death of small scale fights and rise in "zergs" and having so many at one location (regardless of alliance, any guild really) is just keeping PvP going down the same road we are going down now.

My guild wanted to hold a pvp event saturday night and we really couldnt on Haderus because well. . obviously. So we zerged down Trueflame and took everything except Arrius keep from EP since they were putting up the most of the fight.

I dont like to see or do that sort of thing, so im formally inviting all non DC pvpers to please conduct their pvp operations on Haderus on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30PM EST - 11PM EST

It'll be fun! good fights. epic proportions!

After hearing that Pact Militia and the massive amount of EP that came to Haderus a week or two ago are going back to Trueflame, DR decided tonight that as of Tuesday we are rehoming Haderus.

So I will see yall on Friday, since I get to work like a pleb all week.

@NACtron is PM really going back to TF? If so this is a shame. TF finally had a healthy balance. Tonight was abominable. And the lag is back.

A lot of EP guilds that moved with us have already re-homed to Trueflame. With numbers of active players totaling more than those in PM.

Like I said PM has already made a couple runs in TF this week. Neither the que nor the lag was ever terrible. Nor has there been an increase in the lag last week cause of the arrival of other EP guilds. DR panicking like the sky is falling and moving back to Haderus in the middle of a competitive campaign seems unnecessary.

Each guild has right to make their own decisions as for what is best for them, it's just sad to see DR leave in the middle of a campaign they have put effort into.

Hey there are plenty of times other groups can catch us in bad moment or I have led the raid into a bad position of some sort. Myself and the rest of the officers of PM do not view ourselves as immortal and accept that fact that we can get wiped by forces of half our size from time to time. If you truly wiped us with only the numbers you are running then I would actually say thank you. If you are wiping us that hard I am sure that we are learning something from it and we learning to play better cause of it. Organized groups of players that punishes PM where we are weak is a benefit to us as much as it is a benefit to you in large amounts of AP.

Man, I love seeing these types of responses! This is exactly the right attitude.
Every death is preventable - if you died or your group wiped you probably could have done something different to survive, so learn from it and move on. Of course there's plenty of times when the odds are against you / you got unlucky / couldn't have anticipated something...
So you can either get upset and complain ("I just got ganked, those stupid gankers!", "I just got zerged, those damn zergs!", "I just got outplayed, those damn skilled players!"), or you can try to learn from it and keep playing.

Also, it's sad to see every group in every campaign in every alliance getting blamed for zerging simply because pugs showed up - when absolutely nobody has control over the entire Alliance's armies.

    Cheers

    @Crispen_Longbow

I have not been pvping as much of late but aside from large numbers from the competition, I havent heard anything really negative about the pvp experiences on Haderus. I pretty got exactly what i asked for. Im not mad. Haderus went from never being able to find any fights, to fights every where. sneeze and you have to fight - thats how a pvp campaign should be. we get pushed to our gates in the wee hours of the morning but usually by 3pm EST we have the gate keeps back and the map is prepped for the usual prime time push (7pm-12am).

@lepemetus as far as "zerg" terminology - its been abused and misused repeatedly by the same people with some new generation players picking it up as a buzz word. but basically there is an older crowd of players who have been playing since launch with little to no downtime in between that have been very vocal on these forums who spit out their opinions as fact simply because they feel entitled to what pvp in eso SHOULD be as they have soooooo much experience with it, and they just feel like they know better. Its these players that have been dragged through too many large groups run by egomaniacs and have become jaded so they branched off to fight clubs and dueling and ganking and its these players that becaus they are so vocal, have implanted the thought that cyrodiil pvp needs to be small scale if you want to show "true skill".

translation: they think they are too good for large groups, shy away from them, and get mad when they are overwhelmed by the inevitable larger groups. so anything outnumbering them gets called a zerg.

you saw Qaevir do it in this very thread. we had photo proof of 12 players but got called a zerg because he had less than 7. like, stfu seriously.

there is a very small yet vocal group of pvp elite who are corrupted by the "who ya know" mentality and they are trying to convince you this game is something its not.
