By all means get up an organized raid and teach us a lesson or two. Seriously.

    K. You might actually remember this fight, three/four nights ago, an 8 man of DR on AD alts (half were lowbies that had just gotten to level 10 to enter cyro) shows up and decimates your whole raid twice at Drake Farm. (this is after wiping you on siege at drake, you camping, and then running blobcircles around the rocks)
Yeah there were a few pugs, but look at you laying there under Confound's body.

    kekekekeke

Id also mention my 12 deaths shown on my AP counter, of those 12, six of them came from being solo zerged down by your full raid at Drake siegeline before we pushed you off. Your group needs to learn to rez each other honestly, and stop trying to 24v1 my DK for 5 minutes at a time while ignoring siege >_>

Are you sure that was Nik's group? I'm not in PM so I could be mistaken, but I don't recognize either of the 2 visible EP names which makes me think you are just another one of those who assumes every EP group is them.

I'm not sure I could identify this event in particular but perhaps this is what happened. We often split up into groups of 3 or so to retake missing resources after a keep defense. What could have happened here is you guys killed those trying to flip the farm so I scrambled over with my group to try to help them but when we got there it was too late and we died ourselves.

Also if this happened last Saturday we spent a lot of time around Drake. We were mostly on the hunt for the organized raid Fantasia trying to improve ourselves against them :)

From what I can tell, there really wasn't any extended aggro or baiting in this most recent exchange until the screenshot post! Maybe some misinterpretation in the mix. People were lamenting the dissolution of organized raids / diminished possibilities for competitive guild fights, Kena (who runs smaller groups of very good players; didn't take any satisfaction from gunning you guys down in the Roe courtyard, btw, but it was toward the end of the night and we didn't trust that there would still be other people on to defend the keep) remarked on how distressing / depressing that situation was, and Nikolai suggested that Kena put an organized raid together to fight them.

Didn't pick up any provocation in that initial exchange! Maybe coming from someone else it could be interpreted in the sense of "U CALLIN ME OUT BRAH? COME 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 US IF U GOT WH@ IT TAKES", but my impression of the Nord is that he's a pretty straight shooter, not a boasty or bitter sort, plus totally willing to give props to his opponents which goes a long way these days. I think he was just inviting the challenge of an additional organized raid to fight, which is something most of us would appreciate! The wag 'n' shame seems like an excessive response here.

Thank you Joshua Warren! Yes I would personally love to see organized guilds. Steve, the person who made the original comment that started this tangent was a raid lead for VE who forced us to learn and get better. For those that say we need to get better run organized raids against that make us think and improve. With not as many to go around anymore our quality and improvement is more stagnant than I would like sometimes. That is part of the reason why came to haderus in the first place to shake things up :P

Hey there are plenty of times other groups can catch us in bad moment or I have led the raid into a bad position of some sort. Myself and the rest of the officers of PM do not view ourselves as immortal and accept that fact that we can get wiped by forces of half our size from time to time. If you truly wiped us with only the numbers you are running then I would actually say thank you. If you are wiping us that hard I am sure that we are learning something from it and we learning to play better cause of it. Organized groups of players that punishes PM where we are weak is a benefit to us as much as it is a benefit to you in large amounts of AP.

Just to clarify PM has been only running about a raid and a half and in separate locations 90% of the time. one raid will have 16-24 and the other will have 12-16. Some of these screenshots have numbers more equal to the size of your own raid while others are of a full raid of 24. Not that it matters all that much though.

Aw no hard feelings Nikolai. Just wanted to share the past week-ish's experience on Haderus, which included tagging along with Pugruh, which is also the only time I ever engage open world face-to-face with enemy raids like PM.

I know that you run two raids - the 4th picture at Drakelowe actually has both of your raids in it, one at the front, one flanking. the picture after that is chronological and is Crow's raid, the flanking raid wiped. Even though you call it "only a raid and a half" fighting both your raid and Crow's is like fighting two different large raids at once. I'm pretty sure it'd actually be easier to fight a single moving megagroup.

As for group size, Zergruh typically runs 10-14 ish, as an independent group. So yes, it was just us.

Honestly I should record things but my computer can't even handle the pvp lag half the time qq.

Perhaps I'm reading this wrong, but posting about how your group is so cool cause they wiped a bigger group. - with no hint of exhibiting good sportsmanship - is kinda not classy.

If your group is that good, then let others - or better yet, your enemies - offer you praise on these forums. It's best to let your feats in-game speak for themselves. Maybe it's ok to brag and *** talk a little, if you make it clear that you don't take yourself too seriously.

And if it's to just say that a group sucks, well then maybe you can be courteous and have a little post-game discussion with them to explain why they died so easily.

Another option is to not saying anything and just continue to do your best at killing them.

But perhaps this is good-natured, respectful *** talking and I'm mistaken.

(Edited from my original post to better reflect what I actually meant)

PM you guys need to split up more. You guys running all your raids at the same keep is just too much and killing PvP. You guys were just in TF and had an insane amount of reds at one location. That makes most players just switch campaigns or log out.

Rylana and a bunch of AD rerolls fighting on a resource flag? I remember when it was ZaCEzeer and GoS would tried that *** on me.

My drunk self in blue gear and in a build that would be best described as:" an amalgamation of mixmatched theorycrafting that I wanted to fieldtest all ideas in one go", i.e., WW on a 1.5 mDK--no, WW on a magicka build didn't function like I thought was possible, and WW ended up being used as a disrespect ult lol. What was even funnier than the purposely gimp build was Rylana (VR14) and those 5 GoS AD rerolls (all VR1+) dying to soloable resource NPCs and a drunk guy running a gimp build. Their comms were hilarious after they wiped, e.g., "[drunk WW mDK we wiped to] is a bad DK", "All of those IR guys are terrible 1 on 1". At the time, there were still a bunch of Havoc peeps with dual-membership in IR+Havoc, so that was a 2 for 1 insult there lol.

PM you guys need to split up more. You guys running all your raids at the same keep is just too much and killing PvP. You guys were just in TF and had an insane amount of reds at one location. That makes most players just switch campaigns or log out.

We were running 20 players when we went into TF last night...

Though there were most certainly a lot of other EP around. This tends to happen when pushing a keep on the emp ring.

This only usually happens when players say in zone "Need help at Alessia" or "need more EP at Alessia". From the looks of the turnout no one countered that by telling them to go away or attack another keep that might be DC's.

Maybe I'm still salty over it, probably am, but just a tad odd to me that almost every EP on the server (or so it seemed) happened to show up at the same keep at the same time and right when your group showed up. Anyway, I have to get my character(s) adjusted for PvE anyway cause of the new sets dropping so... probably a good time to take a break from PvP.

The only thing I said was via yell and that was something to the effect of "stop hitting the front door and help us seige the mine or farm side" There was a plethora of EP pugs farming the bridge when we showed up. We just helped them actually develop a sense of consciousness and not aimlessly run up to the front door :)

Well gee, thanks for your contribution in the death of PvP. Ever wonder why campaigns become a ghost town after your guild shows up and then alive again after you leave/switch? Hmmm... I wonder.

Why does actually sieging the keep contribute to the death of PvP? Fighting for control of keep instead of potatoing into the front door is something that should be applauded not discouraged.

This sounds great on paper, but it never works like this in game. Usually it ends up something like:

My Guild shows up at Alessia to help take it with fellow EP. We're like "Oh wow, lot of EP, let's get out of here and hit Faregyl". 10 minutes go by and Alessia unflags and either rage will ensue in zone or whispers from our fellow EP asking why we left, we needed you, AD zerged us etc etc.

My guild shows up at Alessia and we're like "Oh wow, there is a lot of EP here, but we should help the faction out because last time we left and they didn't take it." We take the Castle and then some random AD begins telling us to die in a fire or calling us raid stackers or some other stupid rage tell.

Damned if you do; damned if you don't.

It's sad that this is the way PvP has come. In the old days if you wiped at a keep you would come back/respawn and just try a different strategy like maybe open more holes, maybe have a distraction, 50/50 etc. etc. However now you just see factions throwing more numbers at it and it just discourages players. I think I can see why some guilds opt to just keep making lowbies and staying in Blackwater. (although that has become sour lately I have seen)

Fun Fact: PM just attacked Aleswell right before Alessia with a million EP. So we figured we would go to the south of the map and split up a bit. Well you see how that turned out :p

LOL its so true, before we quit running VE groups we had some pretty good compilations of tells saying we were literal cancer, soley responsible for the death of eso, we should die in a fire, jump off a bridge etc. all for playing in a groups of 16-24 people. And the best thing was that the smaller groups that constantly tried to bomb us only to get rekt couldn't even admit that there might possibly be some semblance of skill in our groups so they would keep engaging and then complaining about getting zerged! I really have to question some peoples intelligence lol.

Gotta love those people who streak into your group spamming impluse and usung bats. Then die and rage at you for Xv1ing them. -_-
