Spent 3 hours creating a new character, spending 100k+ gold to get 150 bag carry, all blue motifs learned, and "bagged" with provisioning mats to get to 50 ASAP.

I went through the multiple steps ZoS puts in place to make damn sure we want to delete our character, and into Oblivion it went.

When I loaded said new character, it was my old character. I accidentally deleted the wrong character, all because I didn't pay attention to the name.

At first, I didn't care. I've enough blue motifs and gold to easily create many more characters.

It wasn't until I remembered I temporarily transferred many purple and gold motifs to the new character while making bank space that really turned it into the dumbest thing I've done in ESO.

It still stings.

There's only one I can think of, but one I repeated a few times, I spent so much time creating a character that I got disconnected due to "inactivity" and had to start all over again.

Though I think ZOS has taken care of this, so it can no longer happen.

Doing an Aetherian Archive run, falling of the edge at the final boss, followed by falling of the bridge, followed by trying to jump the gap at the stone atronach and (you guessed it) not making it.

I guess that haste makes waste.

Her laugh saved her because it was too funny to use. It's so delightfully arrogant sounding and is great to use in pvp. She is my one and only character and I love everything about her now.

I also got all the mage guild books on all those characters. Big waste of time!

My first character was a Khajiit Magicka Sorcerer, possibly the worst choice you can make and people did let me know of that. But you know, if you can make a character the wrong way and still progress through the game, then what's so wrong about it?

My first character was an Imperial magicka sorc, i recently changed him to Breton. I was always asked why i had 27k health as a mag sorc

He even still has an Imperial name!

Sneaking up on an NPC with a new vampire and nibbling on said NPC. Was instantly "kill on sight". Good thing it was my mage, with pets out. They distracted everyone while I ran away

I listed 5 Kuta for sale for 10k once, I thought the price was per item not a stack. Someone had a good day

We had been killed by Kena a load in WGT, all low/out out of Soul Gems. Our tank said its ok I've got 260, ill split them. In his drunken haze he destroyed the lot.

Oh and fighting Captain Blackheart for about 2 hours non stop, we finally had a good plan, one DPS accidently 'used' the boat and traveled out the dungeon. Had to run back thru all the pirates etc, nightmare.

Thinking that Scouting Missions in Cyrodiil were important and spending 45 minutes stealthing from the AD southern base to Kingscrest Mine and back again (AD was being gate camped). Being lvl 23, I didn't even have 10k gold to buy a horse, so journey on foot it was. And being absolutely terrified of players, I stealthed all the way.
Also, I didn't know how battle level worked, so I ran away from all the vr12 wolves and other mobs that I saw on my way.

On the day after the updated trials came out we went to vHRC, we reach The Warrior and we start the fight, the moment we started someone asked if the boss would cleave. Most of us were like nah we're fine.
10 seconds and one big woosh later 90% of the raid got killed, so yes he cleaves

I've done way too many dumb things to list them all, but here are a couple.

A couple of guildies and I were 3-manning Blackheart Haven the other day. I dodge-rolled right off a platform to my death when I hadn't even intended to dodge-roll. Actually, I've fallen to my death in there more times than I care to admit - a couple of times because I was galloping at top speed on my horse across bridges and platforms to get through faster.

I've got a very bad neck and I get migraines, so it's not uncommon for me to have to take some fairly powerful medications that can make me a little bit stoned, for lack of a better word. For some reason, when I'm in that state it frequently seems like a good idea to me to log on and craft a bunch of gear. Spoiler: it isn't. Inevitably I screw something up, whether it's forgetting to make it a set piece, making it the wrong level, using the wrong motif, making the wrong set, using the wrong trait, upgrading without making it a 100% chance, accidentally upgrading a piece of vendor trash instead of the piece I meant to upgrade, etc. You name the crafting screw-up, and I can guarantee I've done it at least once or twice while medicated.

A week ago, I was running SO with some people. I was ahead of everyone in the group, and as I was running near the beginning (when you're walking on the edge of a cliff). I play with really high mouse sensitivity, so my hand jerked, so my camera shifted to the endless void below, and I went flying off the cliff.

They said it looked like my character gave up on life.

It's also normal for me in SO to blindly back up, and fall down an edge while trying to rid myself of that green poison.

My first toon was a heavy armor (7/7) breton Sorceror. I planned to DPS with a resto staff and sword and shield. My resto bar (main offense bar) looked like this;

Illustrious healing, crystal blast, clanfear, matriarch, bound armaments.
