How Frustrating and Intense is VMA Really?

✭✭✭✭all you need to do to make vMA a cakewalk is repetition. Keep doing it over and over until eventually it clicks.
Been stuck on round 5 for 3/4 days now, just about ready to give up it's the sheer number of mobs that you have to deal with as well as the boss not forgetting the flo smashing trolls all put together along with skills and bar swaps not working.
I know the spawns off by heart now but it just aint coming together. I'll give it another day the this bloody place can kiss my but .
Big salute to all the have the patience , gold , soul gems and skill to complete it but after so many days the novelty of trying to pass this round has worn off
Round five is about taking it slow and steady. Mobs only become an issue if you race the boss' health. Hit her just enough for something to spawn, deal with it, then return to her. When you start, bring her to the ice floe with the haste sigil. When she gets to 75%ISH, (might be exactly 78) she will turn red. Grab the sigil and mobe to the rightmost platform.
Kill the nereid first and foremost. Start a slow crawl on boss health until she spawns adds, then grab the healing sigil and deal with them. When she gets to around 50% (again, more like 47%), run to the last platform.
If you get here, you should win. Grab both the D sigil and O sigil, which literally makes her adds KILL THEMSELVES. From there, straight burn the boss. Crank up the heat.

Just remember that you control the pace in round 5. You won't get overwhelmed by the mobs if you slow down your dps on the boss until the adds are dead. Also, make sure to leave the defense and power sigil island for last and as soon as you get there grab them both and it's game over- you are basically guaranteed a clear at that point.1 -

I bet round 3? Kill the Atro frost. The 2nd wave spawns off the other adds when they drop.
Stand on healing sigil platform first, take out the ice caster before the Atro gets there, kill the Atro and go over to the shield platform, kill the other adds, then the ogres, when the 2nd Atro spawns grab the defense sigil, the ice caster, archer and mermaid things will kill themselves and just focus the Atro.PC Master Race

Round 5 isn't. Even last boss doesn't go to break the platform until iirc 5% health and there is a timer in place until that happens. You don't need to go full panic mode on it. Next round last boss yes you do.PC Master Race

Which class are you attempting to clear it with, and magicka or stamina? If I can clear VMA with a PetSorc relatively easy, you can definitely clear it. Promised bruh. Let me know the class type and magicka and stamina, and I'll try to post-up a clear for you.

I'd love a 2handed maul or sword, but I'm just not suited to PvE sadly
If ur talking about the ice round stage 5 boss I'm in the same boat. I gave up on vma after many many many times 1-4 I breez through but damn that boss on the ice round. Not that it's even a hard boss it's just killing it before I run out of platforms to stand on. So I said screw it I pvp on a mdk with sword and shield and don't really pve that much so I don't really need anything from it. I just wanted to be able to say I cleared it lol0 -

At one time , the wall will break.
But so will your sanity.

Cimadon✭✭✭I think Deltia completed VMA on a Champ 200 character on PS4 the other day. Makes me feel useless, as I am stuck on the ice rink aswell. (Didn't know about the adds spawn on health though). But it's been 6 months since I got to the ice rink and rage quit, so I don't even know if I'm up for relearning the whole thing again. :-(0 -
