price for higher tier mats will prob drop, but lower tier mats will prob go up... at least thats my guess

EVERY character everywhere will be finding every mat they harvest as appropriate to their level in some way.
So characters at level 37 or at cp 77 will find appropriate mats.
That should IMO mean all prices go down bc nobody is ever getting useless mats (other than the non-crafter jute etc but there are always new low end characters.)
i dont think the mid tiers will go up because supply be driven by demand - the number of character at a given level, the more people getting nodes of it - the fewer characters at a level the fewer getting nodes of it.
So my guess is stuff that is over inflated now will drop to reasonable as supply and demand come in sync. items that are underprieced now due to a glut MAY go up over time but the glut will have to subside.
Overall i would not want to bet on harvesting more gold from other players off mats after OneT than now.

Reason is all zones have access to these mats for people who are cp160 or above.

You consistently ignore the fact that most crafters craft for other players. These other players are not always at the cap.
Some of these crafters supply the mats, some don't. Under One Tamriel, no Master Crafter will ever be able to farm for mats for any other level than what their crafting material level is set at. Given that by the time they are Master Crafters, most are above CP160, so mid tier mats are not going to be farmed by any crafters unless they happen to be set to that material level. I for one am not respeccing my crafters just to farm.
Add in that Farming for mats is not something most players enjoy, they would rather buy them from Farmers or from Crafters as finished products.
Where are all these mid tier mats going to come from to be fed into the economy?

I think you are a little over optimistic here - a lot of players simply do not harvest materials at all and rely on either what they find or crafters who spend the time to run around many areas gathering stuff up. Those are the people that are liable to suffer most as well as guilds where high level players do free crafting for new guildies.

Yeah. I craft for a lot of guildies. Three out of the five I belong to I'm one of the master crafters for. None of them charge anything for crafting. In other posts STEVIL keeps insisting that the only reason anyone would be objecting to this is because they are "harvesting gold" from being a crafter.
I only wish. I use my own gold to buy motifs, to buy green level tempers because I make all the gear I craft for low level players to green, to buy mats I don't have time to go farm myself. On a few occasions I've gotten a tip from people I craft for. A few times I've gotten a few extra mats or a gold temper. One time I got a fortified nirncrux. If mats have to be bought, then something is going to have to change; either the guilds will have to charge membership fees, there will have to be mandatory raffle participation, or we will have to charge the people just out of coldharbor gold for their gear. Or spend a lot of time explaining to players who don't want to harvest the mats instead of playing the game how to find them.

Apparently quite a few do. I do it mostly because it's been fun. They get to look through the different sets that I can craft for them, and get to pick some combo they like. And the motif - often different for different pieces as well (they can get some idea from eso-fashion.com). When a friend first started playing it seriously made the game for him just to breath fire on people with ashen grip. And then later to blow enemies back with death's wind. While leveling the armor turns over so quickly that cobbling together drops doesn't produce anything too fun before they get so old that they need to be replaced. That fun is worth burning some amount of time for (obtaining mats). I hope that the changes don't make it so that the time or resources required don't outweigh the fun obtained.jarradarab wrote: »Who actually crafts anything other than max level gear?
