I just found a reply from a german Zenimax employee on another thread timestamped 8:32 this morning, accessed at https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3337136#Comment_3337136.
They said that "Ich habe unsere Techniker angeschrieben und suche nach weiteren Informationen", which translates to "I have written to our technicians , looking for more information."
So maybe they are looking into it, just value their german customers more?

English speaking customers include american, british and any other country other than germany or france I think. They are represented by the american team who are probably fast asleep currently as it's 3am there.
