Error 200

My game has been working fine until this morning. When I try logging in after the update I am getting error 200. I also get error 108 sometimes. I have run as admin, repaired the client, rebooted both pc and router. Please help @ZOS_GinaBruno

    Same thing, cannot login into the game.

    I can login on the account management, and I changed my password, but still cannot login into the game.

    I had this issue a few days ago, quitting the game client and relaunching it allowed me to play, but this time nothing do.

    I did also confirm that I have no keyboard issue by typing the password in the UserID field.

    And before a member of support bothers to make the stock generic suggestions let me just add that; A- Renaming the ProgramData folder does not work. B- Repairing the installation does not work. C- No, I do not need to add exceptions to my firewall, that won't work either.

    Game was fine last night. Nothing has changed on my PC. No updates, no patches. No gremlins or cyber terrorist attacks. This problem is server side .

    Same issue, EU server. Tried rebooting laptop and hub, repairing the game, renaming ProgramData folder and starting the launcher as Admin, but nothing worked. It was fine last night, though.

    Same for me. Error 200 . So many error 200 / 201 in this game and the generic support answers to delete programdata folder and/or repairing the game has no effect when this happens.

    On the forums it says about the maintenance for the WEEK of september 5-11. Since it says that the store and account system are on maintenance, I`m thinking that the reason why we can`t log in, is because our login info servers are down and may be down untill 3PM London time. I don`t know how the whole server wheel works, but maybe that could be a reason as to why we can`t log in to the game?

    I am?? Blimey! That's a first. I'm going to ring my mum and tell her. She'll be so proud :)

    I notice when pressing play on the launcher that the game starts immediately. It never does this normally. There is usually a wait of a few seconds before the actual game client starts. I also notice that on the login screen there is a message saying that the game could not retrieve announcements.
    I am guessing the login servers are down. Especially considering the maintenance info Dracobot posted. I guess we all go have some cocopops, honey nut loops or...........wheatabix, if you're one of "those" types and come back later. It's a lovely day out there, go for a walk, feed some pigeons, stalk young women in the park. (Or man. It's the 21st century. Sexual equality and all that)

    If it is maintenance, I do love how the game let's us get all the way to the login screen without telling us we won't be able to login, rather than warning us on the launcher ( I mean it says server status: Online). Then fails to give any explanation as to why we can't login. I couldn't have designed it better myself...........if I was a sociopath.

    Unfortunately, I have to disagree :( If you look at the maintenance that happened yesterday, it began at 9BST which was stated in the maintenance logs (see above), so if we follow the same layout for the Store and Account system maintenance, that means it will begin at 3BST on FRIDAY, not today. I could totally be wrong, but the layout just seems like it means the maintenance will start at the time advertised.

    So the servers were down for maintenance yesterday, it's down for whatever reason today. First report of login error 200 was 1,5 hours ago... somebody looking into this?

    We have no idea :( It is a bit frustrating that ZOS haven't come out and said anything; there really is not an excuse.

    Don't think so. They usually aren't as fast reacting... And if you contact costumer support you get a message they are closed now. They only open during American daytime hours. Makes me wonder why a game with a separate EU servers and this many players doesn't have an European costumer service team...

    I just found a reply from a german Zenimax employee on another thread timestamped 8:32 this morning, accessed at https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3337136#Comment_3337136.

    They said that "Ich habe unsere Techniker angeschrieben und suche nach weiteren Informationen", which translates to "I have written to our technicians , looking for more information."

    So maybe they are looking into it, just value their german customers more?

    Same here. Worked fine yesterday after patching, now error 200. Disabed firewall to see if that was the problem but it isn't.

    I see on top of the forum pages 'The PlayStation® Network service interruption has been resolved. Thank you for your patience' => soon to come: 'The PC® Network service interruption has been resolved. Thank you for your patience'... as soon as they wake up, I guess :smiley:

    Contacting customer support have only supplied me the same standard answers about the problem being on my end so I don't do that anymore. I've found it's better to change nothing and wait until they fix the problem on their end
