That new Server option...

Server selection is now done at the login screen rather than in the launcher. You can change the server you log into by selecting the new “SERVER” option in the left menu.

Does this mean we'll no longer need to have two separate directories for the NA and EU servers on PC/Mac?

    I hope so.

But I haven't seen any info on how it's going to work, beyond moving the button.

Do these directories have the entire game in them, or just some support files? For example, the PTS is effectively a copy of the Live game, so my HDD space needs are doubled because I have that installed.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Yes. The EU and NA separate server directories also have the complete game. It's a system that hogs HD space which hurts especially if you use an SSD for the game files.

Using one directory you could conceivably have "timing" issues if you play on both NA and EU since their weekly patches happen at different times. Still, there must be a better solution.

I need a 2nd hard drive anyway, but as an interim measure I deleted the directory for the NA server. I like having the option to play on both but I mainly stick to EU since crown store items don't transfer and I just couldn't justify having something I rarely use taking up so much space.

I may reinstall it when I get my new hard drive, but it would be much better if they could both use the same directory.
