I think it's moreso that they are in a PvP specific area and see everyone as a potential threat, so they treat them as such. I PvP every now and then and even I have that mentality. IMO, if you are in a PvP zone, expect no safe spots or safe people.CP 561- vSO HM - Completed

98% of the time they just want whatever they get for killing you.. How would you see that random guy that's just fishing in a lake far away from anything as a threat

✭✭✭While there are mats in Cyrodiil, they are spread apart. If you just want mats there are better places for farming. If you have a lot of time and don't mind the possibility of being ganked and having to ride all the way back, then give it a go.
Like others have mentioned, Cyrodiil is a big place. If you die, you can rez at any keep or town that is held by your alliance. This might be on the other side of the map. Also, the map has bottlenecks (gates and bridges) that you have to pass through to get to another part of the map.
It's an exciting place with delves, skyshards, quests, lore books, fishing, siege machines, keeps that you can take, and players that can kill you (or you could kill the other player).
Lastly, if you think you are in danger and if you want to avoid confrontation, sneak.Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
