Yeah they sure do, I especially have to commend them on how close pretty much every other thread, no matter what it's about. Not to mention their ridiculous censorship of random posts. I think that Zeni forgot that this is a game with a MATURE rating, because they censor the dumbest stuff sometimes.

I am tired of being pigeonholed into cheating thread because they want to make their issues contained. There are too many ways to exploit or cheat to only have 1 tread.

Forums are hard. So many people hate each other after 2 years. Biter never ending rivalries. Foaming at the mouth rants.
Just walk away from here. Check in for patch notes, share a couple jokes and bail out.

I typically am not the one that has problems being censored, but there have been multiple other threads that have been outright closed either with no explanation or one given by Zeni that doesn't even make sense/apply to that thread.

Yeah Man, don't wrap yourself around forum opinions. You'll find out if you haven't already, it's an emotional toilet. Everyone dumps their hurt feelings and once in a blue moon a Mod will come in like the TidyBowl Man and finally give it a plunge an a flush. Still smells like a outhouse after.

Give feedback on Reddit. Better place if you ask me, an if you have a bad day they just down vote you instead of shutting you down completely.

We have asked for an Off Topic forum already, many times, and we DO want one (least I do lol) but alas they want only constructive commenting about the game on their forums...

While it's the case that I've never had a problem with the way ZOS run the forums, it's also true that I've never had a problem with the way they run the game either. A couple of broken quests (one fixed by my retaking it, the other fixed in an incremental patch the week after I experienced it) admittedly, but that apart the game has run smoothly for me since PC launch. Most of the game's changes haven't affected me (including the switch to B2P) and I've adapted easily enough to the few that have. It is an MMO after all and I'd be disappointed if it didn't evolve over time.

Additionally, while the game is rated M, these forums are open to anyone so they are effectively rated, PG-13.

We certainly wouldn't mind that raise, though.

I dont see how the forums being rated pg-13 while the game is rated m makes any sense at all. Since not anybody can use the forums without first getting the game. Or atleast I was not able to do so(has this changed?).

They do show up on Google though, and I know I searched the forums for information months before I actually snagged the ability to start an account.
So that might be part of the reasoning behind the decision? People may also search the forums for information before buying the game. Most people want to put their best foot forward on things like that.

Only thing that really confuses me about these forums is every two weeks I seem to start a new invisible thread according to my profile count. I figure it is from splitting out posts to move to a hidden forum or something? But it confuses the heck out of me every time that number goes up.
