I don't know why ZOS ever thought the Maw set was ever going to be good. The RNG system they have is a joke, there's not that many monster sets currently so having one set repeat more than any other is crazy. I think we, as in PC comm, have had Kena twice, maybe Valkyn 3x, and so on. Since the forums have state quite often that Maw is useless then maybe the devs should rework it or remove it for the RNG system.

Or maybe you should just accept that not all sets are equal and the randomizer don't listen to your squeals

Some people might like Maw, which would then make it a bad decision to rework/remove it.. Also, have you ever thought about the fact that there needs to be bad sets, for others to be good? It's like opening a booster pack from MTG.. All the crappy cards that keep reappearing will make you so much more happy when that Black Lotus you've been wanting for ages, finally pops up

On the PTS the chance to summon is double what it was. So now you it can be the worst Undaunted set twice as often.

Maw is a fun set though. Not every set needs to be aimed at top DPS or whatever.

I would like to run a PvP group of pet sorcs all wearing Maw to see what kind of mayhem that would create.

I have done a group with three pet sorcs with Maw plus my healer through Veteran Spindleclutch. The answer is that it's really fun, although some of the pets had to be put away during the boss with the red circle of instant death. On the final boss, too, he liked to punch the pets instead of the players so that was the easiest fight ever for me, heal-wise.

If your on PS4 I have a sorc pet build with Maw

Im so up for it haha btw Maw is really good if you use pets with it.

Yes. They will be adding the helms to the vendor but if the amount there are the chances of finding the one you want are going to get lower
