No I worry they are going to rely on the crown crates and basically ruin the game by adding pay to win items to them. Or possibly just relying on Crown store too much.

I don't like the crown crates. I have no interest in dueling but as long as I can disable it and ignore it I don't mind.

Other than that I like where the game is going.

    Yes, I love this game.

About the crown store, everything is cosmetic anyway. I will probably spend some of my crowns getting new mounts and costumes I have seen on data mining, but, again, crown store items do not affect the gameplay

If you would have asked me this a week ago I would have said no, but after seeing the patch notes and getting some real information and not speculation I think my interest to do pve again has picked up.

Crown store it is what it is, the only negative thing about the crown store is I hate when they put items in the store and no chance to gain them through game play, I like having more reasons to play the game, more things to do is always a good thing in my book.

I don't like the way the game is going, but that's because of combat and balance, which was ruined by the 1.6 overhaul just when it was approaching a good spot. It's been getting worse ever since.

I dont like the idea of One Tamriel.
We can be best buddies in the open world but as soon i cross the road to Cyrodiil we hate eachother.
Well its a game but the idea is absurd.

Why not erase all of the keeps/resources and add a gigantic King Of The Hill mode instead.
    All vs all.

Just going to be more of insults/teabagging whatever, when you meet other factions in the open world that you just zerged down a day ago.

Not that i care of insults.

Yeah, but I still think some class rebalancing is needed. However, that's fluid. The actual direction of the game is encouraging, though :)

Dont mind about crates... but I worry about the game going easier and easier, I worry about it seems to head to farming events (IC 1st anniversary is all about farming benefice), I worry about less variety in Cyrodiil (respawn at outpost unnecessary, tower doors... all is going more and more plane)...

Absolutely. I think some people have way too high expectations sometimes. As someone who grew up playing eastern pay2win cash shop boobs out mmo's, ESO feels like heaven.

They do, they put the motifs in the crown store, but you can also get them in game. However if they gave you a way to get the cosmetic things in game, what would be the point of even putting them in the crown store? The whole reason the store exists is to sell things to the players to generate extra money for ZOS. When the game first came out it was by subscription only and so the crown store was not needed. However now that they have the sub and free to play option they added the crown store. Some people like to kid themselves that they can play for free and maybe they can to a certain extent, but they will ended up paying in some way or other.

Dude i dont even think you know the direction the game is going. why dont you make a poll based on the last current DLC and mechanics loot and there of. the crate system is not a direction its a scam just to get more money out of the barbie doll player in ZOS (which im guilty of a mount and a polymorph i dont need to be a male orc in a wedding dress though).

You should be more concerned about DLC size massive amount of fluff solo content with no in game expanding systems. things that show is preparing for the longevity of the game for a five year cycle right now to me it looks like they have gone into milk mode before this cow even matured.

The Elder Scrolls Online is amazing and it keeps getting better with time. To me this poll looks like a way for the OP to vent is hate onto crown crates...If they're only offering cosmetic items who the hell cares, all I ask is that they continue to incorporate the lore into each item that is sold.

I don't care about the boxes. I wish they weren't becoming a part of the game, but I'm an adult and I understand why they're doing it. So, the boxes won't make much of a blip on my radar because I choose to ignore them. If other people want to buy boxes, motifs and mounts that I wouldn't care to buy, more power to them! It doesn't hurt my game, it'll only support its continuation. I think they've done a good job in keeping the store full of desirable, cosmetic items and nothing is necessary to play the game.

I'll get at least one wolf pet, the black kitty and possibly the black lion.

I'm curious about the furniture, since it's only in one style. Hopefully there will be a variety of ways to get different styles, that canopy would look silly in my Khajiit house.

I am very happy with how they've handled the Crown store in the past year and a half. I think that is enough time to judge how they approach their store strategy.

Also, the One Tamriel update just might be the best thing ever happened to ESO.

    My personal opinion:

I'm happy with alliance and zone restrictions being lifted. Not too keen on duelling, but at least I can flag myself off from it.

Lots of lovely cosmetics to spend my crown allowance on - that's also good... I will choose not to buy the RNG boxes because I'm not the gambling type.

More worried about PvP than anything at this point.

The TTK is too low. With the addition of all the new sets and weapon ultimates this next patch TTK is going to be even lower. All of the cheese builds this current patch are out of hand. There's too many ways to one shot people and those will just multiply.

Not to mention the vast on growing imbalance between stamina and magicka...

    No,
But your Poll is flawed with leading "Answers" providing your stated 2 reasons why we don't like the direction the game is heading.

My No opinion is because the combat developers are obviously leading us to play the one way they want to be successful in which is Stamina Domination for PVP which is pretty telling for a developer today. There's psych studies about this and insecurities imo...but that's for another topic, not here.

One Tamriel zone changes and PvE dungeons etc are fine, lots of great stuff happening there.

But combat, skills, and itemization... What the unholy F is going on there? Horrid balance and more cancer being added every patch. It's getting SO far out of hand.

What no option for " No because of One Tamriel " ?

Look One Tamriel is a bad idea cause one of the things that made this game fun is the fact we had to pick a side and fight for them. It made each zone different in their own way and made PvP easier because we are fighting for our own "team". What be the point of fighting for our alliance and crowning them emperor/empress if we see the players we are trying to kill in PvE zones acting like nothing happened. Like I truly do not understand the point of One Tamriel and wanting any player to go any where regardless of their choice of factions it is a stupid horrible idea and I do hope the plan get scraped.

    I'm interested in 3 changes:

Open Tamriel - Should have been a launch day feature, not a means to drive revenue.

Level Scaling - I'd still like an explanation why this wasn't a launch day feature.

Craglorn Nerf - As an adult gamer, grouping isn't easy. It's nice to see an area is finally nerfed for solo play so I can work to acquire better gear unavailable in most PvE play.

Random Crates - Not a fan, so I won't partake in what I see is a blatant ripoff. I will remind parents to lock down the purchase options on consoles before it's too late.

Player Housing - I'm neutral on this. Mostly used for storage, but in the ZoS world, this means spending more gold/Crowns to upgrade, neither are appealing. I also get the feeling this is going to be a gold/Crown sink, as they're going to offer custom features to "gradually" build your home from a mud and straw hut to a castle (limited edition furniture only available in the Crown Store). Time will tell.

    Overall, I remain positive.

Finally, I close with a message to ZoS:
USE COMMON SENSE WHEN IT COMES TO DIGITAL GOODS, NOT WHAT THE TREND IS.

There's a bubble right now. What happens to bubbles when they get too big? Learn from history before it's too late.
