I know that with new patch notes and content comes a lot of questions and concerns(some more toxic than they mean to be).

what gets lost in the translation is how great it is to be playing or anticipating this new content. Kudos to everyone at ZoS

Starting with IC last September all the way to the one tamriel patch notes today, it has been an action packed year. Thank you for all the amazing content. It has been very entertaining

Actually big ups to ZOS. The last patch on XBL stablized the game way better than before. Still not perfect but spending 2 hours in the Gold Coast with zero load screens last night was quite enjoyable.

It's a bit of a jump to assume that because someone corrected a misunderstanding in your post they hate the game so much they shouldn't even be playing.

The way I read it that wasn't even a complain - just a statement of fact. Update 12 is entirely fixes to existing content, not adding new content, which is why there's no DLC aspect to it. Which isn't a bad thing, in fact it's what many people have been asking for pretty much since the game came out.

There are no new vet pledges, only harder versions of existing normal pledges, and easier versions of existing veteran pledges. Painting a red apple blue doesn't make it a different apple.

However, they are introducing new monster sets, so technically, there is new content this update.

With all the new items and changes to some others, there will be a shift in the meta. Lots of things to look in too.

New glitches. Heck, in ZOS's case, even old glitches coming back are possible.

Personally I don't consider items to be content, I personally consider it to be content if it's something you go into a game to do. Like "I'm going to go and do this quest" or "I'm going to go and do this dungeon". But that's just my own definition.

The way I look at it, the game is at the point where it should have been on release as far as the loot system and open world aspect.

I think scaling of everything was a good move, now level is a matter of passives and skills unlocked rather than a numeric advantage (it's still there, but the margin is shorter).

Every place in the game now has an reason to be explored, with any friend, limitations have been lifted and now doing those quests, world bosses, and dungeon give you actual rewards.

Everyone, regardless of level will be able to easily obtain a set with bonuses. This might make balancing skills easier for ZoS since gear is so complementary to bar setups (this does not mean that gear should be the solution to correct or compensate for underperforming abilities). So I can see that being a reason why many skills have not changed, nor do I expect many ability changes till this update has been live for a while.

But as has been made clear, it wasn't a fact. Given that, it just comes across as more negativity in a thread that is trying to remain positive.
