I wanted to create a thread asking about the pros and cons of spell damage and spell critical so I can finally put an end to my constant flipping of mundus stones on my sorcerer, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I'm brand new btw.

It's somehow based on badges and/or insightfuls/agrees/awesomes and/or post/thread count. But I have no freaking clue about any of the details of how it's actually calculated.

I guess you answered my question on how high the stars can go, at least from the perspective of what is the most I have seen. Makes my 6 stars look insignificant. I am a CP 10 forum warrior meeting a CP 180.

I doubt necromancy gets added for Sorcs unless they add skill lines to the other classes.

I left the forums for a couple of months (just because work was way too busy), and when I left I had 5 stars, which was the forum cap. I came back and was surprised to find they raised the cap and I was at 10 lol.

4 more levels to go for me! I need to start saying agreeable, awesome, or insightful things, instead of the random nonsense that I usually say.

Necromancy could be a fun skill line, giving you options for raising dead enemies to have in place of sorc summonings but it might be an either zombie or Clannfear limit to keep people from running with 4 fighting pets.

I believe he was asking if you also think that useless threads should be locked or something to prevent them from continuing, like how you (at least I think it was you, I could be wrong though) similarly said that maybe threads should be locked when they reach a certain age/level of inactivity in order to prevent necroposting.

Yeah it was me as it's the suggested solution I made in the OP of this thread. As for the question, if it is truly useless Zenimax would lock it anyway. Personally though, I'm one of the people that feels we need an Off Topic forum, but will never get one

Honestly I don't know why we don't have one, pretty much every other forum I've been to had one. *shrugs*

I hate to recommend it, but random nonsense has served me pretty well.

Search is good, but the info may be outdated and therefore useless. Therefore, they discourage necroing and encourage making new threads if the topic isn't presently being discussed already.

Actually it's not really as irrelevant as one may think. Less stars means less activity which means they have less to lose from getting banned.

well not always i was banned in late 2014 because a post imade went into privates with a very nasty forum moderator. i had to show zos customer service the repsonse from the mod he sent to my Email account. he then had his moderator removed and i was reinstated. I think i had to re make my forum account to.
