When you die armor

When you die armor can you not sell it or sell it on guild stores. Or even trade it. Once you die armor are you stuck with it forever

Once you EQUIP armour or weapons they bind to your account. You have to equip armour to DYE it.

Correct. When you dye armour it binds it to your account so you can't sell or give it to other players.

Not exactly. Once you equip "bind on equip" armour or weapons they bind to your account. If you equip non-set armour or weapons (which are not "bind on equip") they don't bind to your account. If you then go a dye those non-bound items that you have equipped, they will bind to your account.

So for "bind on equip" items they get bound to your account before you can dye them.

For items that are not "bind on equip" they don't get bound to your account until you actually dye them.

Yeah, considering every piece of gear that's worth using is either "bind on pickup" or "bind on equip" it's really not surprising that the majority of people wouldn't ever run into that - not unless they're brand new and using random dropped pieces anyway. So it's totally understandable that you (or anyone else) might not know that.

All craftable sets are 'bind on equip' I thought. I've been wrong before though!

All craftable sets are 'bind on equip' I thought. I've been wrong before though!

You're correct - any craftable set is "bind on equip". Crafted non-set items aren't.
