Best ESO Myths?

I've been working on the general executioner achievement these last few days and have come across some really interesting/funny myths. I think it'd be fun to compile a list of ESO myths (especially while we wait for natch potes).

Myth 1: If you wait for all the pinions to glow, you have a higher change of getting a general to spawn.

Myth 2: If you get a lich add, you are more likely to get a lich armor piece. (Truth: lich chest and helm drop from the Lich of Mourhold general and gloves, shoulder and staff drop from the sisters).

Myth 3: To increase your chances of getting gold tempers, you want to zone to a different area every so often.

    What myths have yall heard?

    The myth about zoning before refining mats is actually partially true. There was an old bug where passive skills were lost on death unless you relogged or reinstanced, so in order to get them back you'd rezone before traveling.

    Myth: refining in Craglorn gives more chances of gold tempers. Not sure if true or not, but just in case... my refining sessions are done in Belkarth.

    You reduce everyone's damage if you can apply the status effect. It's name is concussed. I forget the percentage but it might be 8%.

    You can also proc an off balance effect, but it triggers a knockdown if you fire off a heavy attack.

    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    @Beardimus the shock damage thing might be related to Lightning Ballista, the following is the description of their damage.

    "Creates a ballista siege weapon whose electrically charged bolt ensnares enemies and drains their Magicka."
    When people say to me........
    "You're going to regret that in the morning"

    The only times I've seen a general spawn is when we did this.

    Only templars can be good healers.

    People below CP200 can't do veteran dungeons.

    Those two drive me nuts, how many people believe that.

    The pinion one is the most circulated superstition, though. I thought of that one immediately reading the thread title only. That plus the refining for tempers stuff.

    Some ESO players are more superstitious than the sports fans in my area. :D

    Gw2 was on the market long before this game. Not sure how it was going to be the final nail for ESO.

    you cant complete dragonstar without master weapons, and you can only get master weapons by being emp

    now its; you cant complete vMA without mael weapons,

    ha and the myth lives on...I've had generals spawn when every pinion was hit as soon as it popped up.

    How can anybody believe this honestly? I mean how do they think people run around with vma weapons. With that logic nobody should have ever been able to complete it.
