LOVING this IC promo. Been finding lots of small scale/solo PvP in IC and making bank on stonesvamp_emily wrote: »Just in case some players are blind like me. They did fail to mention a few things:
1. No ganking Emily's stones
2. Only 10 AD will be allowed in IC at any given time. ( They want players to have fun besides AD )

I think there is just too many mobs down there and that turns a lot of PvPers off since the mobs do inflict a decent amount of damage.[It is too bad that there normally aren't more people in IC or the sewers. It seems this is really designed for small scale battles. I was down there a few weeks ago grinding for stones for my Phoenix armor, and it was totally dead... I think I ran into 3 other players in the four hours it took to get enough stones for the armor... I wondered if this would provide a boost to the pop down there.

Edit: Also the fact that nothing you do there affects the campaign is probably a big turn off too.

Yeah, that's true, there are A LOT of mobs down there... It does make it interesting needing to worry about mobs and players, but not really the cyrodiil experience in small scale that I think most people are looking for.
Now what would be cool is if they greatly reduced the mobs in the IC, then have it so that you could dethrone by either 1) taking the ring of keeps in Cyrodiil or 2) taking all the flags in IC.

I'm not sure which campaign you were in, but AS has some activity in IC.
I love the no siege in IC. Probably the best part about it. Siege shouldn't deal damage to players IMO, it's silly having red rings around the ground everywhere you go while you're trying to pvp at a keep. Coldfires hitting for 8k a tick and stuff.... meh.
The worse thing about coldfire is they come from PvE. The best PvP weapon comes from PvE. Silly.

You don't need to be good at PvE to get coldfires. You literally can go to a dolmen, set two fire balistas, stand in the middle, and fire each one back and forth to wipe the dolmen with almost no effort.ChapterMasterV wrote: »I love the no siege in IC. Means you need to be good at both to get it.

Aye lol when you get a coldfire balista it literally 1shots almost everything at the dolmen cept for the bigger mobs like Harvester etc. They take like 2 shots...You don't need to be good at PvE to get coldfires. Didn't actually know siege hit PvE mobs, Then again I'm the guy that always forgets to bring siege.
To some degree. In the end it's scripted mobs that do the same thing every time (mostly just gear checks), though obviously some competence and coordination are required depending on the difficulty of the task.PvE takes skill too. Just burst and line of sight aren't important there. Many PvPers are decidedly bad at PvE. Different skill sets.
Wow DC zerging hard tonight!
We zerged down Alessia because it was the last keep needed for emp. We zerged down Aleswell because that's where I was placing the scroll and we had a large amount of random people following the scroll. Outside of that mostly everything was just groups coordinating attacks at different locations. When something became UA we coordinated who was going to defend what. When we attacked we coordinated multiple attacks at once.Wow DC zerging hard tonight!
Edit: Oh and hey AD, did you notice we let you guys have your tri-keeps back again immediately after taking scrolls since you know... we don't need to gate farm people with lower population (though pop was even til you guys got pushed to gate and started giving up).Wow DC zerging hard tonight!

I'm sure you guys were outnumbered most of the time as EP is always the lowest pop, but the groups that were running were at different locations the majority of the time.
Also, AD was our main focus. We decided not to even go for EPs scrolls since EP is almost always without them.

If a particular person is not in BWB then that particular person has no reason to respond as nothing I said applies to that person. I wasn't speaking to a particular person, I was speaking to the members of a faction who are participating in BWB as this is a BWB thread.
