To a point, No, you shouldn't get the chance. Simply because you weren't playing at that time. Just like if you keep playing and get an exclusive item that gets discontinued somebody 4 years from now shouldn't be able to get it cause they weren't playing now.

Too fricken bad, Charlie. This isn't your game to enjoy. This game is for all of us and I'm glad ZoS is bringing them back for us players who weren't on at the time when they were in the crown store to be purchased.

Disagree with every word typed. That's a selfish way of thinking. Not many got the chance to get these. Weather be it due to economic reasons or simple they bought the game after these items got removed from the store. Its good that ZOS are giving those players a chance to get these items.
I actually bought mine when it first released and I'm glad others are getting their chance.
Thats not selfish all games have these exclusives that cant be accessed later. It gives a lot of meaning to the item.
I didnt buy ice horse for finantial reasons and other stuff beacuse i wasnt playing the game then.
I don't beleive i deserve to get them cause that diffrentiates me from those who have been here longer than me.

But seriously I can sort of sympathize with the Op, its like minting a coin with a mintage of 1000 and then 2 years later re minting the same coin, you just screwed over the people who bought the 1000 coins and now they are devalued.
The Perth mint in Australia in did this "once" and got some serious back lash/loss of coin sales for , they didn't do it again since.
But anyways, this is a video game, if enough people are addicted they can resell pretty much anything and people keep sucking it up whether they need said imaginary item or not.0 -

They have already said in these forums that loyalty rewards would not be coming to lockboxes or crown store, only the limited time offerings would be.

Pangnirtung✭✭✭✭✭By re-adding these limited availability items back ZOS are really shooting themselves in the foot so to speak.
There are some people that buy things BECAUSE they are limited and that increases their value by virtue of being hard to get.
ZOS is demonstrating that EVERYTHING will ultimately be available in the crown store.
Next time you see a really cool item that is labeled as being available for only a week and then removed from the crown store remember that if you wait long enough it will be back in the crown store again and probably cheaper.
