Very long loading screens since patch?

I defiantly had a lot of crap running, but I did just to the windows 10 upgrade in July and I don't think I had really made many OS changes since then. You can google the clean boot if you need better instructions.

Load time still seems slower then it used to be, but this has happened a number of times in ESO life so far and is always a ZOS issue. The actual in game works get again though, no stutter back to 60fps most of the time.

You just solved a problem specific to your system that has nothing to do with what others are experiencing. (even though you think they are related due to your symptoms being similar)

I had a 5+ minute loading screen into vMA this morning (which normally takes around 20 seconds for me), so this is still an issue. It's intermittent though.

Delves in Cyrodiil take about 5-10 minutes to load for me (usually a few seconds). I tried to get into Earth Forge and loading screen hung for nearly 1/2 hour, when I finally gave up and shut it down. This since last Monday's patch...

The worst part about the 2-3+ minute long loading screens is that if I tab out then my game vanishes from the taskbar and the only way to access it is via alt+tab.

edit: And also having to port to one keep to port to an outpost... because then that's double the long loading screens. T_T

Even outside the lag and stutter fest that is Cyrodiil, PvE zones also are sluggish, stutter, and everything form NPCs, players and objects takes forever to load in.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I am getting the same thing on the NA server. Also every time our Vet Maw team leaves Maw and returns to Rhawl Kha our characters lock up and we either have to re log or will get booted from server in minutes, not to mention half the team had such lag it was not even playable in vmaw.

My ping is fine in some areas, but as soon as I travel to others I cant even move or interact. After traveling to lag areas I have been kicked to the login screen 4 times and it takes me 3-4 times to log back into my account after. I was lagging last night, but the login screen lag just started for me today.

As of the time of this post, I've been on a loading screen for the Deadhollow Halls heist for 38 minutes. I've *never* seen a loading screen even close to this long before - I'm shocked that I haven't been booted for inactivity.

Edit: OK it's now been 54 minutes and I'm still on the same loading screen. I'm going to bed now, and I'm very curious to see if I'm still on a loading screen when I get up.

Well, if you like being counter-productive and if you enjoy actively sabotaging yourself, then by all means.

Remember, if someone is standing outside a shop ranting and raving, embellishing a small complaint, calling everyone names, and just being completely over the top, the staff of the shop will not take anything that person says seriously. They will generally do what it takes to get that person to shut up and go away (which may involve calling security/police - if we extend this example to these forums the equivalent would be warning/banning you for behavior against the community rules), but they won't make an effort to make that person happy, because they've rightly come to the conclusion that the person is unreasonable so there's no point in trying to make them happy.

If someone has a complaint about a shop and explains to the staff in a rational and reasonable manner what their complaint is and why they're upset, without indulging in transparent hyperbole or hurling insults, then the staff will generally come to the conclusion that the person is reasonable. They will then make an effort to turn the situation around and make the person happy however they are able to.

Last night, I got stuck on the 2 loading screens as well. I Alt+F4 the game and relogged. It worked fine both times. I hate closing ESO like that. It leaves open files on the HD and could cause issues later on.

You know what is more weird? That's my ping is showing 184, lower than the usual 200...ish I used to have, but I'm having lags that I didn't have before.

It was so funny running Public Dungeon and almost die to a stupid archer because my Sweeps didn't fire as I commanded to wipe the other melees around me.

Arbarlas and Circus of Cheerful Slaughter for me today. I have to close out the game and reload. When I do, it asks me to re-accept the user agreement and choose my country. Often some of my in-game setting are lost.

I do think they got a memory leak somewhere, and also I do know they need to fix their launcher as well before one tamerial comes out. Otherwise it might not even download right. Yeah load screens do take longer, sometimes they can last up to ten minutes. I do think its something they can fix however.
