More Character Slots?

I already got the 4 in the Crown Store which brings my total of chars to the max of 12. I notice on ESO Live, bug testers have 30 chars slots (for testing). Do you think the Crown Store should have 4 more chars slots? Or More? Is so, how many slots should sold at a time in the Crown Store?

30 slots, sold one at a time, just like the crown store is now. Honestly, I don't know if I would have enough interest in 30 characters; I would forget which character has what abilities...LOL.

if not 16 then 30, but that does seem a bit excessive. I think 16 is more than enough..

Omg... What do you people do with such amount of chars? Do you even have time to play all of them? Do you even still recognize them? I would be confused which one is which...

I understand a desire to have all classes in both variants (mag/stam) which amounts up to 8 chars but more? What for?

Surely, there will be some for whom even 100 would be too few...

I would like to have all 10 races -- stam and Magicka versions PLUS WW or Vampy versions. I do play all 12 of mine. I play 1 or 2 for a while then switch to a different set. If I run dailies dungeons or WB bosses. I use my alts for more chances for the drops. Also, there are hirings and pack mules as well.

I have 8, one stamina and one magicka build for each class, and barely have time to play 2 of them each day. On the rest I log just to give them riding training, and get/put stuff from bank. I will play all 8 eventually, but 2-3 of the inactive ones can serve as extra bank space. I really see no need for the 4 extra slots being sold now and didn't bother to buy them. They should allow people to have as many slots as they like if they want to buy them. Really no harm in that.

I would like to make four chars and I will be done. To have all the races, I need a Bosmer and a Nord. I would like to make my favorite races again: Khajiit and Argonian. If I had more then 16, then I will make more. I rather have an alt instead of respecting a current char.

12 is plenty.

If you consider what you're paying, you should actually just buy another copy of the game however I also understand the account benefits but 12 seems more than enough (I've not purchased any new slots)

Apparently there are no technical limits up to 30

To each his own

Preferences can change over time, and deleting characters you get attached to is not nice

4 classes, 2 variations (stam & mag), WW or vamp, 3 factions, 10 races.

480 character slots. Sounds guuuuud.

More realistically, 12 is enough to me, I can have some experimental builds with those last 4.

WIth Update 12, Factions do not mean much anymore (unless you are a PVP'er)

Honestly you guys baffle the mind. I'm content with just my Templar and Nightblade. Just two. I tried making a third but she got deleted at Level 10 cause I got too fed up.

I probably would not play more than the 12 I have now, but I am more than willing to make an infinite amount of Argonians for the names alone.

If players are willing to buy an additional 22 character slots to have 30 characters, I personally see no reason not to let them. I mean that's 33000(exactly 6 packs of 5500) crowns which comes out to $239.94 if bought at regular price.

If someone really wants to play 30 characters I don't see any reason to limit them from it. I mean, it's a bit insane considering you could just buy another copy of ESO on Amazon complete with the Explorer's Pack for just $18 which would be a heck of a lot cheaper than buying character slots. But hey, if someone wants to then we may as well let them.

I currently have 6 characters out of my 8 , I still need the 4 extra slots but since I have all the dlcs and getting jerked in the process when the gold edition came out... I should have received a refund back on all the dlcs I purchased if I did buy the gold edition even if I bought them with crowns..

But in any event I would use maybe not 30 but I think 30 would be a great max.. it's not to many and it's just enough for those like myself who need more... I want a character of every class on every alliance ha because why not!?

Why should we be limited? More characters slots would mean more game time which means in the end more money in some way for the company's pockets... I'm all about trying things out and I also wouldn't get bored I would shoot for maxing each and every character out.. if they had more races,classes, abilities and spells.. that would be a positive reflective on the game ... it's all about choices and variety

I just maxed speed training on my 12th character, I do suppose it couldn't hurt to have Even More mount training. I'd prefer to wait until they either come out with new classes or a class change token, though, so that I don't wind up swinging in the breeze later down the line if they implement the former and not the latter.

Serious question: why limit it at all?

I understand each additional character is more data ZOS need to store on their servers, backup etc. but presumably the cost of the slot covers that. So why do they limit how many you can buy?

If anyone is able to explain it that would be helpful.

If someone wants to buy dozens of character slots, make every race, class and role combination possible, more power to them.
