Need help in uprgading my graphics card

Greetings!

Yes I did see the system requirements, right here: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3313/kw/system requirements

My PC is:
Processor: AMD A6 3620 2.2 GHz
GPU: Radeon HD 7470
RAM: 4 GB

At first it may seem that my PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements in GPU, yet ESO works pretty fine, as for such a weak PC ofcourse. I have around 30-50 fps with graphics set on low-minimum. I wanna buy a Radeon R7 240 (unfortunately I can't afford a better one atm). If you look again at the minimum system requirements.. the R7 also seems to be so bad lol. Yet the R7 240 is better than the HD 7470 I have atm! That's why I'm posting here.

So is getting R7 240 worth it? Will I be able to play on atleast medium graphics with 35+ fps? I think you guys should upgrade the info in the link I gave above, coz it seems that the Radeon 6850 can't be minimum, my HD 7470 is SO MUCH WEAKER and yet it works pretty fine ^^

Thanks much for your answers!

read your link, it's only talking about minimum specs (one on PC, other on Mac), no need for change in it

Lunar Lattice - Guildmaster / Fullmoon group raidlead
Potato Knights - former core member
former dd-"The Phoenix Reborn", former raidlead "Omnia Vincit /Playdead"

clears: vCrag HM - vMoL HM - vHoF HM - vAS HM (+2) - vCR+3 - vSS HM

My bad, still it seems that the real minimum specs are much lower than in the link

    What is your budget?

This card would run the game great and you would be very happy with it

    https://www.amazon.com/Radeon-Overclocked-256-bit-DisplayPort-Graphics/dp/B00ZQ3QVJK

This card would spank this game, and any other out there as long as you are not gaming at 4K

To compare cards and their performance see this

    http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2015-vga-charts/benchmarks,186.html

Note, you need at least a 20% difference in benchmarks to have a noticeable difference in the game.

Another thing to consider is some PCs come with weak power supplies, so check yours to make sure it is up to snuff for the new video card. Most cards today use lot less power than before, so it's not as critical as it was a few years ago to beef up the PSU.
