Forgive me if someone already mentioned this but isn't the Clockwork City we were shown years ago just a level in MSA?

No, the Clockwork City is huge. That was just a level inspired in dwemer stuff.
I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

I think that whenever Clockwork City comes it will be delightful, but I won't deny that every new DLC zone is likely to experience performance issues as huge numbers of players flock to try out the new content. Still totally worth it, though. Wrothgar is in a special situation because it has pretty dense resource nodes and is enormous, so lots of farmers head there in additional to the people just looking to do quests and world bosses.

Hummmm, I thought they looked exactly the same. But as you said Clockwork City is huge. I hope you are right. Thanks for the reply.

Even as bad as content roll out (as far as bugs) you still want content.
I'd rather they stop doing one update a quarter as far as paid content and instead offer a min of one and a max of two large DLC a year.

I'd rather them spent 6-9 month making the entire game smoother. A lot is still changing tho so I'd guess the mentality is to roll the changes out and then work on resolving things.

One Tamriel will be the largest update ever as far as changes and new content tho so I'm fine waiting another 6 months for Clckwork or longer if it's not a huge zone.

This is where I'm at. I'd prefer if they only release 1 or 2 a year as well. Not only can you test more doing this, but as a person who doesn't get to play everyday, sometimes not even every week I'll never be able to stay caught up on content. Right before or when I finish the latest there is new. While always having new content is nice, being able to farm a little to have the gear to be invited into raids when I do get time would be nice.

Yes. The dwemer ruins are underground for the most part. If the city were underground, it would probably be more lore friendly.
We have no idea whether it's underground, overground, or even in another dimension. When it's visited in TES3: Tribunal, you're ported straight inside a building, with no mention of the exterior.

When they started creating the assets for Clockwork City, they used some in MA, which they also did with some of the Murkmire and Spiral Skein assets. But the Clockwork City itself is all but confirmed as coming some time, due to the Prophet's in-game warning.
