last part of the quest you will be in the fighters guild hall (which one depends on alliance) and merrik will open a portal to get there for you.

The portal is in the Fighters Guild hall in the last zone of each alliance (yes, they are also in your Gold/Silver zones)

They are normal crafting stations, BUT look at the top, instead of the normal two tabs there are four. The first two are normal gear, then next two are the SET gear. So if you want the sets with the set bonuses etc make sure it says it at the top.

Each crafted set requires a number of traits researched per item. So zone 1 stations only need say 2 or 3 traits researched. That station in FG, I think is an 8 trait set so @Dcmaniac2807 unless you have researched the correct number of traits per item you will not be able to make it. Does that make sense?

Yes. You need to know 8 traits to craft a piece of armor or a weapon there.

If I'm not mistaken, it's the Kagrenac set that is crafted there.

Kraganecs Hope and Ogrims Scales are both made in Earth Forge. Krags is great for PvP DD....hits even harder than Julianos but you lose some crit chance, but in PvP crit chance means very little
I think they are both 8 trait sets

As someone mentioned the earth forge set requires 8 traits which means that you will need to research 8 traits on each item type you want to craft which will take months of real time to do. Researching traits is one of the worst features in this game imo.

It does not "hit even harder" at all. Please don't spread misinformation. It is often preferred for pvp as crit is less desirable due to the prevalence of crit resist.

So many ill informed keyboard jockeys spreading utter rubbish. Never known a game like it.

But you can use the forges at the crafting stages near the earth forge. One is in a side room before you enter the cave, the other is right before the earth forge..

it does on the two magica builds I run. On a mag-plar and mag-knight I do more damage per hit than wearing Julianos. Your total damage output is not as high due to reduced crit chance but each non-crit, normal hit of a skill does more damage than Julianos. I know it was about 500 points of damage on a single Puncturing Sweeps hit and a bit more than that on a non-crit Flame Lash- everything else is the same. Gear, jewelry, same enemy in same zone, everything else being equal I do more damage per non-crit hit while wearing Krags than Julianos. The magica increase makes up for the slight loss in spell power.
