@LegendaryMage Yea, some people really have hater societies following them. Making up rumors, lies and finding a way to damage them

That's what happens when you are good.

That's not the only reason, but that's usually how it begins. But from my experience, there are also people who love you.

I got rage from a group of 8-10 people for fighting them alone. Killed couple of them before dying and then ressed and fought them again and again... Eventually two other guys joined me and 3xwhat ever they were, we won...

I don't care if someone killed me, I will just resurrect and comeback. Specially while fighting near a keep - I don't see a massive problem in attacking head on big group alone... I do not know about other people, but all of my characters are immortal...

Some guildies and I went mostly with our lowbies to collect some skyshards and complete some caves in Cyrodiil a while ago. We were in that cave (I cannot remember the name) with the whirlpool that leads down to the boss at the bottom. We had just killed the boss when a cp501 guy jumped down and started swimming over to us, so we all shot him and he died in the water, as he had no way to escape. He sent my friend some angry messages that I cannot even repeat on here, it was really funny at the time though lol

This kind of trash happens way too much in cyro. Yesterday I was shard running with a low level Mag NB. I was not far from a shard in a cave in another territory so I figured I would just try for it, and if I got killed no big deal. As I close in on the cave I get a whisper from one of my guildies and I didn't want to wait till later to fully respond since he's not on a lot. So I enter the cave and crouch right in at the entrance to avoid detection from foes that were just ahead of me but still out of range. While I'm in whispers with my guildie at max level enters the cave and kills me. I was level 10. My thoughts? What a loser tool. I mean really, the foes were alive so I was clearly not botting in case that person might have thought that. This is the kind of loser scum that trolls cyrodiil. I could never be bothered to kill someone so much lower than me. I'd more likely kill mobs to help them get the shard which I have done.

There are players in this game that are just scum. Not much you can do about it but hold yourself to a much much higher standard so that people who cross your path get a chance to see decent players rather than the some of the worst scum that trolls cyro.

You're complaining about a player attacking you in a PVP zone? Just....lol.

I just ignore the salty troll types. However, I do like those people that can take a loss or a win with grace and see the fun in it. When I get my rump handed to me I never take it personal, its just how the game is meant to be. If you are caught off guard or a better player rolls up and takes you down... just enjoy the challenge and move on

However, I will sometimes get a tad salty when it comes to the game lag or the suspected cheat, but I have not ever whispered anyone a nasty comment over it. I most likely never will either.

Well said. I'm a PvP tank with a very good build, and self sustain myself for quite a while 25ish V 1. Granted I can't quite kill people with any bursts (lol), I get everyone's attention on me all spamming every skill they can. When i realize these guys are getting low on resources I tell my team "GO" and they all swarm and drop bodies in like 30 seconds, even if we were outnumbered 2 to 1. I get hate mail daily calling me a cheater because they can't even get do more like like 5k damage. It's extremely fun!

Had a small guild group with a few pugs running around IC farming teeth and stones. We ran into an AD group, had a good fight, but they had numbers, so we ultimately lost. On of the pugs starts raging in group chat, calling out guildies, raging about how our group sucks at pvp, and how we should let him lead. Instead of booting him, another guildie hoped on their AD NB and followed our group around trolling the guy with reaper's mark. Pug spent the next hour running circles around the group spamming shards in all directions, the whole time complaining "we are about to get ganked, everyone needs to be ready!" After we gathered about 10K stones, we let our guildie kill him, kicked him, and shared the spoils! Soon followed more hate messages..

Zenimax must design an option to block communication in whispers with all characters from other factions and all players outside of your friendlist just like the toggle to go offline to block any whispers.

One of my favorite things to do after I get rolled by 4+ people solo is to whisper them 1vs1 brah. It is hilarious how mad some people get over asking for a 1vs1. No one ever 1vs1s me though its sad. Reminds me of a lot of you guys

As someone who gives and receives hate whispers every day, all I can say is not to take them too seriously. In my case, I'm usually angry any time I get killed by a group when I'm running solo or by a sneaky ganker who relies on stealth. I don't mind being killed as long as it's a fair fight.

I see other people in this thread report that they rarely get any hate comments. I wonder if the fact that I play almost exclusively in the Imperial City has anything to do with the high level of rage I encounter and experience. The loss/gain of Tel Var stones contributes an unnecessary humiliation factor in the IC... I wish they would do away with it.

The only time I've ever tried to PM someone in PvP was when I kept getting ganked by DC (I'm AD) while trying to get a skyshard and after a 15-20 minute travel through the sewers just as I'm either in the same room or in the next room over nearly there, I'd get ganked. It happened 5 times, by different DC gank groups each time.

Didn't work though. The names that showed up in the damage log just resulted in "player not found," so I dunno what I did wrong there. Probably for the best though. *shrug*

I never did get that damn skyshard. I gave up. >_>

I'm starting to get a lot more hate tells. I think I've finally played enough and appear on enough people's death recaps that they are starting to notice me.

Saw a certain overconfident EP nightblade failing to be sneaky - who shall remain unnamed - det up and cloak in towards the MASSIVE group of DC, that had just defended Rayles from the MASSIVE group of AD, repairing the wall. I anticipated his path, streaked over him, and he pretty much just blew up. I send him a simple whisper, "Nice try."

He proceeds to blow up with personal insults, you know... the usual "zergling talentless little ***, you and your entire guild can't kill 4 of my people while we /sleep in combat" sort of comments. Followed closely by, "Me and my friends never zerg or zerg surf and always kill you even when outnumbered 6 to 1!"

While I don't get rage tells, or even the classic "dead" whisper, Peralda does get ganked by ZERGBAD a lot. I save the death rcaps. If I get 1 BoL and 1 block done before i die. I'm happy.
