After a twelve hour down time... five mins to get into Argent mine?

I am having this problem with a character trying to load into EP in cold harbour on NA myself.

I am on the NA server in the EP version of Reapers March and the loading screens are extremely long. This occurs with just about every delve. Earlier I was on in the AD version of Wrothgar and the same thing was happening there.

Also experiencing extremely long load screens. Probably about 5 minutes to enter the Crypt of Lamae Bal, and jumping from Elden Root to Gil-Var-Delle is taking far longer than it ought to. As I type this, we're coming up on 3 minutes or so...and that's from a wayshrine to another wayshrine in the same zone...

Almost cancelled raid tonight at 7:45, lot of zoning issue mostly toward raiding instance. Seems to be worst on characther who had already been Inside a trial and were either moving back there or going to a new one.

Open world zoning seemed better.

Actually, edit: neither of my characters in EP's Cold Harbour can load in at all. The screen freezes before you even leave character select's image.

Problem? No, no, no you are mistaken. This is a new feature you see, Zeni thought we might be getting tired of playing a buggy game, so they're just gonna let us look at the scenery in loading screens to take our minds off of the other problems, err I mean new features in the game.

NA server

I ported to Alkir, Deeshan, Eastmarch, Craglorn all OK.

Could not go to Betnihk, closed ESO window, relogged (login time was OK) and tried 3 times for Betnihk, just stays on load screen.

Closed window and relogged, ported to Bleakrock - was OK.

Now tried going to Coldharbour, load screen again.

Its not that the load screen is slow it just does not complete (over 10 minutes now for Coldharbour)

@ZOS_AntonioP this is unquestionably not the case. Various characters, various zones including low population non-DLC zones, etc. A lot of people simply can't log characters in.

I'm not having an issue with logging a character in, but I'm having an issue with loading into City of Ash, normal or veteran. When the group tried to queue into it, there is a perpetual loading screen. I had to force close out of the game with Task Manager because it took way too long... Finally after I exited, everyone else was able to port in. This was normal version.

Veteran version, different group, but same issue; except there was a "transfer failed" error after a very long loading screen (again). After the transfer failed error message showed up, we would all port back to where we were before the transfer - which was Stormhaven. We all tried to mount, and then we got stuck and couldn't move after. We were stuck in a "whistling animation". I noticed that there was literally no one in the instance we were in. No merchants or NPCs, either... But I could see the other group members in the instance we were in. Relogging fixed the instance issue, though.

Yea it's traffic. I had the same issue when I logged in but it cleared up.

PC NA, cannot enter Coldharbour with EP character due to infinite loading screen. Only way to exit load screen is force close the game client and restart, which puts me back in a different zone. Tried multiple times about 1hr after servers came back online following maintenance and again just now when there should be almost no traffic at all (4AM EDT)

I was able to access Coldharbour with a DC character.

I'm having the exact same issue a few others have mentioned. I have an EP that is in Coldharbour that I cannot log onto. It sits on loading for 5+ mins and then logs me out of the game due to inactivity. NA PC

You have to be slightly impressed with Zos' ability to break something every time they tinker with the server. A lesser company would only break something occasionally

Ok, in answer to a question on another thread, I am having more issues with lag and disconnect with my character on Ebonheart Pact/ PC/NA.

I experimented with other characters in other Factions because I was having so many issues with my Main/First one in Ebonheart Pact.

Didn't even realize it till I saw the question by a mod in another thread.

I put a ticket in days ago and have still not had a response.

I'm also stuck in infinite loading screens in Wrothgar (can't even login character). NA PC, since last patch. I can't complain, i need to play WoW this week, Legion is coming.

Could not get into Watchers Hold after ten minutes on NA/PC so I shut down and restarted client.

Still I am trying to get into Watchers Hold and the icon just sits and spins. WTF

PC - North America. Unloadable character is in Coldharbour, EP. All other characters are apparently unaffected and load fine.

I was contacted by support today (via email), after that they moved my char from Coldharbour to Davon's Watch, and I was finally able to logon.

In my case, issue was solved, but I won't chance to try to get back to Coldharbour for some time!
