They have a few groups who go their own way to farm AP for themselves and couldn't care less about the campaign. Honestly, what's the point of feeding EP APs at the bridge north of Aliessa for hours on end, while losing the entire left side of the map. Or a emperor who directs people to cling to Roebeck while losing the rest of the map just so they be emperor for an extra hour or two. Or how about the groups that feeding DC APs at Nikel while the rest of DC takes everything behind it. Same thing happened with the Had campaign and now AD doesn't exist there in any numbers. People asked yesterday, "How the hell can AD be pop-locked and still be getting gate camped, owning nothing on the map?" The answer is simple, a lot of AD players are down in IC grinding away for T-Stones and couldn't care less about the Cryodiil campaign. I know some people who have never left the sewers from day one of IC. The populations of IC and Cryodiil really should be separated. Sadly to say, at this point, when, not if but when ZOS starts charging crowns to switch alliances, some of my characters will be switching out of AD.

That way no one will know your plans!

Yeah there shouldn't be many spies online when the servers come online after this maintenance.

Sounds like a new and innovative strategy to try then.

It's actually not a new strategy. I've been setting my alarm clock at 3am every morning for the past 2 years so I can come online to ESO and PvDoor while everyone else is asleep.

Amazing!
See, it's long term strategies like this that foster competitiveness, good sportsmanship, and encourage players to come to Trueflame from the DC and EP factions. It'll feel like home to them, like they contribute regularly, and have good fun while doing it!
The fact being I know we have 4 or 5 good guilds that run during MY time zone. There are probably more out there and If we can organize all of us for the better, then perhaps, just perhaps 60 players wont show up to defend against 24 attackers.

I agree, oceanic time is quite competitive at the moment. I have great fights with TKG and wormhole, who always demonstrate good sportsmanship and do an excellent job defending all of their keeps and scrolls despite being on only 2 bars population each night.
I totally appreciate the notion of working together more, but I don't think we need a dedicated AD lead coordination chat. The leaders of the prominent guilds are already in a fair amount of private communication, which is one of the reasons we're winning this campaign again. Probably the best thing AD can do right now is encourage pugs to form their own guilds and get more experience fighting. Trueflame on NA PC is THE competitive campaign, yet we have so many poor lost pugs running around! I know there are some folks doing pug wrangling, but I think an achievable improvement would be to get the pugs to form guilds and work out new leadership.
We may also need to put the pugs that show up consistently through some kind of a bootcamp. I still see people trying to use fire trebs on walls, or hitting postern doors instead of the wall/stair, or sieging people instead of the wall when the keep isn't even flagged yet. The poor dears need a lot of instruction!
We also need to be more vigilant about toxic exchanges. While it's true that people who've switched to AD have expressed time and again that we're the "least toxic" chat, that doesn't mean we don't have our fair share of naughtiness. Let's keep AD #1 by holding ourselves to the highest standard!
I wanted to toss this out there and in light of the known espionage that exists in zone chat i think its time to organize a AD TF leadership type chat that is secure from observing EYES. I also think its time all the AD guilds that fight on True Flame pull together and discuss what we need to do to make a stronger united faction. If any of the AD leaders on TF would like to discuss the next step for us as a faction post up here. If there is enough interest I will gladly host, create, or whatever is needed to make our fights more of a united effort.

To be honest... if you want a more unified front... you need guilds..... and or groups of people willing to put up with pugs and push them to multiple fronts at the same time.
That is how a lot of DC guilds work...
For example.. on TF Most of the Guild PVP group leader message each other... tho we may not like each other.. we know what each group can bring to the table and where they might do the best on the map..
Yes I feel your pain... Sometimes working with other groups makes you feel icky inside... but sometimes you got to work with them a little bit..
As for the Peeps herding the mindless pugs....... good luck....
The DC PVP Guild's love running into them...( something about sweet tasty and easy AP)
