The Time Penalty for Joining Dungeons Has to Go

I've been pulled into the same horrible guys half finished dungeon twice now that's 30 minutes wasted. Please get rid of this idiotic penalty I am not asking to join horrible people halfway through dungeons and should not have to suffer a penalty cause a healer has like 10k health and does heal made himself leader.

    Get ported to half finished RoM, then after 2 min group changes their mind and I get ported to WGT with them but I'm trying to farm Amberplasm. Leave group, cant join another for 15 min GG.

    What new to be added is a toggle for joining an in progress group, maybe since it could hamper players working in a pledge. Maybe unintended consequences considering this.

    Join a guild guys, go to the undaunted enclave. They will never be able to fix the activity finder. Unfortunately, every other option is better than activity finder atm.

    What if you join as group with a racist jerk cursing all the time, better not leave or you're penalized, not him.

    Ps4 communities are even better than activity finder, and that's sad

    I agree with OP
    I think they need to rework it to where once you beat the first boss you can't leave without a penalty I hate getting kicked from a group or leaving at the start of a dungeon and getting the time penalty.

    This. There needs to be an option to turn off being matched to groups that are already in-progress.

    Add that, fix the other things, and the penalty would actually work the way it should.

    The penalty benefits no one. NO ONE. People who choose to leave because they don't like it do this knowing there is a penalty. And then doing care. AT ALL. To them it seems the 15 min doing other stuff is better than doing a dungeon run they believed would be that bad of an experience for them. So to them, it's actually not a loss at all. For everyone else? Double whammy because they wanted to do the dungeon and now they have to wait again.

    Again today same god damn thing I can't even get the pledge done cause i either have to carry everyone through the whole dungeon just to have them suck too bad to finish or this crap where I am stuck in one and they are at the final boss. Another half hour wasted cause it keeps putting me back in the same loser ass group.

    OP: The solution to your problem isn't to remove the time penalty. It's to prevent you from getting popped into an in-progress dungeon if you don't want to get popped into an in-progress dungeon.

    Activity Finder seems to be only finishing premade groups and not randomly grouping players. Its all around buggy. I think the penalty should stay but the activity finder is so bugged right now it needs to not have a penalty at all until it works completely fine.

    Sounds like you all need to use specific dungeon finder instead of random.

    You shouldn't get the big bonuses if you're not willing to do a "RANDOM" dungeon regardless of who ends up in the group.
    If you get kicked....it's debatable because if people are kicking not due to you particularly, there are some adjustments possible but if it's do to you....no changes are needed.

    OK sure, but getting rid of the timer isn't the solution to that problem either. The solution to that problem is to fix the bug that lets that lets more than 4 people get put into a group for a 4-man dungeon.

    While i agree with that, given their history i think i am more likely to see the timer removed before they fix the finder.

    When i played before i recently came back i would queue for a dungeon, pop in, then immediately removed just so people could get a freind in instead of a "pug". Not sure if it's implemented yet but maybe there should be a 5-10min wait on the ability to kick another member.

    Also if kicked from group there shouldn't be a cool down only if player abandons the group before the instance is over.

    Disband in a group finder just need to be disabled.. that's all. Still to this day my temp has never done Volenfell...never it's been a year...Hazar you have joined a group for Volenfell..Yay. ...oh wait it's disbanded...Prick..ended up finding a low level grinder in guild and solod it just to get the point and undaunted....fun...

    It's stupid, that they force us to play with horrible players. When I use the group finder and am forced to group with Cp81 people or so, then I will instantly leave and I only get such lowies -.- This penalty should go.

    No but but needs to be fixed;

    It needs a window before you enter the dungeon and after entering before you actually start the dungeon where you can leave without penalty.

    If you get kicked you suffer no penalty.

    Need an option in the settings menu to not join dungeons already in progress.

    for one running pug's suck most of the time's
    they need to fine tune this grouping tool as well and make it really functional besides the time penalty yfact

    i've really didn't ever used it extensively cause back then it i had to wait hours to get a group then i didn't bothered with that anymore

    try to make some friends in game and join a guild till then sadly ..

    to say that your point is valid and needs attention to get the tool's usefull for once

    Especially annoying when you q for a dungeon with a premade group and players are removed from the group to fit other random in.

    To clarify, had players A, B, and C in group. Looking for healer. Player B, a DPS, was KICKED FROM MY GROUP to get players D and E.

    And I am raging right now.

I've been on the opposite side of this and it's just as annoying. 2 of us in a premade group (both dps) join the queue and get into a dungeon to find we've joined a group of 3 and there are now 5 of us in the group. One of us is asked if we wouldn't mind leaving. This is a completely valid request since we should never have been grouped in the first place, but we both have to leave since we're specifically playing together. That leaves the other group needing to find a replacement, but it leaves us stuck waiting for 15 minutes before we can queue again. 2 + 3 != 4 :neutral: really!?

    As well as refine the Finder so you can select to start at the beginning of a dungeon or in process (usually group is at the last boss), the amount of CP/no cp required, and include trials as a selection. Just a whole lot of work needs to be done on the Finder. It's not finished yet, Z

    Had the same thing happen a couple of nights ago... I joined with my buddy into a group of five.

    The leader kicked the lowest CP ranked player in the group, leaving him with a 15 minute wait.

    I felt bad for him.

    Otherwise, everyone will just turn the option off to do pledges and in-progress groups will never find a replacement.

    Join a group for the gold pledge. Gold pledge group does not want a tank.

    Get kicked and insulted for rolling tank. Cant qeueue for 15 minutes.

    Yea, I thought about that, but it wouldn't be too long until some poor soul gets kicked at the final boss, just so some brony's best mate can hop in at the last minute for a free gold key.
