OP: The solution to your problem isn't to remove the time penalty. It's to prevent you from getting popped into an in-progress dungeon if you don't want to get popped into an in-progress dungeon.
OK sure, but getting rid of the timer isn't the solution to that problem either. The solution to that problem is to fix the bug that lets that lets more than 4 people get put into a group for a 4-man dungeon.vyndral13preub18_ESO wrote: »^This.Giles.floydub17_ESO wrote: »The time penalty should stay but make it so if someone is kicked of leader disbands the group there is no penalty, except for the leader who disbands the group.

The problem is that isnt the only problem. For example the last 2 times i successfully found a dungeon we had to many people. One had 7 people(no im not making that up) and one had 5.
No one did anything wrong. But now several people have to wait again for nonreason. succeeding in being placed in a group is a horrible place to start a timer.

I've been on the opposite side of this and it's just as annoying. 2 of us in a premade group (both dps) join the queue and get into a dungeon to find we've joined a group of 3 and there are now 5 of us in the group. One of us is asked if we wouldn't mind leaving. This is a completely valid request since we should never have been grouped in the first place, but we both have to leave since we're specifically playing together. That leaves the other group needing to find a replacement, but it leaves us stuck waiting for 15 minutes before we can queue again. 2 + 3 != 4really!?
Joining an in-progress group should give some the person who joined some kind of thank-you bonus (similar to the random dungeon bonus) when the dungeon is completed.
Otherwise, everyone will just turn the option off to do pledges and in-progress groups will never find a replacement.

Or credit for bosses killed already if your trying to complete the pledge, although that would be abused to all ends by players who don't actually want to play the game.
