I have an explanation for this issue! You guys ready for this!
1) Video of the issue @Berenhir is talking about. It is caused by lag.
2) This is how the long range gapcloser is activated in a more close up view. It leads to other buggy behavior as well.![]()
3) Explanation: This has been coined as a Macroslice, and can very rarely get queued up by spamming the gapcloser button. When your gapcloser moves slow and you mash the button to activate it quicker, this may happen. No exploits. Lag contributes to it, but the "cleaning up" of animations caused it.
If a gapcloser is pressed two times or more when a "Macroslice" is engaged, you can back up as much as you want since your attacks will eventually land. In the case of the OP and Sypher's video, the players had the "Macroslice" queued up and it eventually fired off those late gapclosers.
Notice how in Sypher's video, Toppling Charge strikes twice. In Fengrush's video, he hits his victims with multiple Critical Rushes as well. That's how it works.
I've had this happen to me once as well. You need to immediarely CC the player who accidentally triggered the Macroslice and then dodge roll if possible. There is no way atm which is even somewhat reliable to activate this. It is purely a rare bug. Please fix!
(This is my theory at least. Makes sense imo)

Mur, you saying they can hit with more than one gap closer, when there is a minimum range factor, meaning they are stacking moves that shouldn't be stackable.
Exploit, don't care if its on accident... funny these so called "greats" use a bug to do things that shouldn't be doable.

Why are you surprised? ZOS's security is a joke and cheat engine run rampant and unnoticed!
Cheers!
