@AtmaDarkwolf voicechat is a cool addition to the game, if we got it on pc ..however I don't want them to change the zonechat.

Consoles started out with Voicechat alone, and recently got textchat implemented. They had poor options for WTS/WTB and finding groups, specially because the community that had transferred from PC platform there ruled all the best guilds and trading at first.

+1 to all of the crafting request gripes...

People that STILL hang around craft areas/bankers/dye stations spamming skills to grief others. I mean, seriously, WTAF?

As for sexual harassment stuff, only ever had a prob when on male chars, so I don't play male chars any longer. Made me feel kinda weird anyhow ~ yes, I am one of *those types*. I can happilly imagine myself being a cat, or a lizard, or an orc... but not a MAN ;P

Folks in newb zones asking newb questions usually don't bother me. The how and where to grind is still very annoying though.

When someone tries to sell a BoP item or, (surprisingly more likely) a crown store item.

To the crafters, what do you think is a fair price for your services? If all mats are provided and for friends/guildies?
When I ask how much I should give them they usually say they don't want anything but if like to give them some for the trouble :)
Give them a few flowers or something they will appreciate. I once gave 200 manganese to a crafter xD
I love this idea. Especially as no one is selling "junk" style stones in Guild Traders any more. I refuse to pay 15 gold each from an NPC vendor!
The best thing you can do for a crafter as a thank you / recognition is to know what you want, express it clearly, don't forget info, don't push the responsibility of choices onto him, and provide ALL mats including style and improvements mats, without forgetting ANYTHING. Also, don't be impatient. And spare him your own theorycrafting and the whole story why you chose those sets.
    So true.

I personally do crafting for free for friends and for people in the Guilds where I am an Officer. Anyone else, it's crafting with your mats for tips. Genuine enthusiastic thanks is acceptable as a tip if you don't have money or anything to give in kind. Otherwise, I expect a tip of between 1500 gold and 10k gold or useful item equivalent (a Kuta definitely counts as a nice tip), depending on how difficult your order is to make. For example, if you want one set made from a crafting station that's right by a wayshrine, everything with the same style stone and trait, that would be at the low end of the tip scale. If you're asking me to go to three different crafting stations including going into the Imperial City, with a whole bunch of different style stones and traits, then you'd better give me something nice for my effort.

I love how this has started to become a thread about the challenges of crafting. There really are so many.

Lately, I've found myself dreading the words: full set of armor. I'm just so intimidated by that. It means I will likely have to travel to 2 or 3 different crafting stations, negotiate which pieces are light, medium, or heavy, and spend a lot on one person on 'crafter courtesy' materials (i.e. sapphires, tempers, and charcoals of remorse).

One strategy, at least when working with a crafter like me, is to break the order into smaller components, and consider which ones you really need them for. For example, if you're working with an 8-9 trait crafter, ask them for the sets that require many traits. It seems a bit frustrating if they get asked to do 6 trait or 2 trait sets, when it's likely there are at least a dozen people on your friends list, some who are significantly closer to you, who can make them. I'm much more likely to agree to help when somebody asks "can you make me trinimic heavy legs in morkuldin?" compared to "can you make me a full set of cp 150 armor?".
