No matter what level you cursor over it shows it adjusted to your personal damage
The problem is that the 10% proc rate is procing 100% of the time, and sometimes on things that don't seem like they should proc it. If it only proced 10% of the time and on correct damage types, then it makes sense that the set damage is high since it won't be near as active as it is now.
I find this thread interesting. OP starts off by bringing to light a potentially bugged set and asks for the dev's position. OP provides evidence.
What I don't understand is why members of the community are attacking the OPs claim and asking for evidence. Clearly the OP and others are doing their best to provide this evidence for the greater good of the community, with their own personal time. At the end of the day, the call will be made by the devs. Evidence will help their investigation.
What I'm really curious about is what would motivate members of the community to challenge the authenticity of the OP's suspicion? I'm not going to lie. I think the only reason would be because the accusers 'wear' this broken set and want it to stay a secret and exploit it. But I don't want to be an accuser myself. So instead, I'll ask: why not try testing the set out yourselves instead of challenging the validity of the OP's attempts to provide evidence for the dev's investigation of a potentially broken set.
That is all.

People challenging the authenticity of the OP have all been using it tuesday evening and had a blast fulling the death recaps of all players with it. They obviously don't want it to be looked at.

apparently hearsay is evidence.
Azoi is the only one who posted screen shots and the response to him was pretty much "NAW FAM DAT AINT IT" lol
oh well, the great thing is people are going to be buying this like hot cakes and I just happen to go and clean it out of most of the guild stores lol. Too bad they are going to be very disappointed with the damage output lol.

I believe that they mistakenly have this procing on anything class related, not just spell damage, but being a magic user I can't confirm.
I also believe that multiple people wearing this will stack the AOE on you, as during a bridge fight last night, there were some wtf aoe damage deaths for me, not that me dying is suspect, but just walking through 2-3 people and dying is a strange feeling.
0.o so this is the anti 1vX set then, got it.
I'm staying out of what should and shouldn't be as that is a conversation that doesn't end well.

So basically you released a video showcasing a set you know is bugged??
Lulz.

Basically I made a video using a set that no one had really used extensively in live PvP before. By doing that, I started to see there was something off. I didn't know it was bugged when I began using it, and didn't know exactly what was bugged or to what extent except from continued use.
I do not think the damage is bugged - it is getting battle leveled and is scalable through CP and spell power. However, what does appear to be bugged is how it procs - the proc rate is near 100% instead of 10%. It also procs off all magicka abilities, but we don't know if that was purposely done or not. I have seen it proc off some siege (like fire), and *maybe* weapon enchants that are magicka based (like shock, cold, fire) might proc it.
Because the set is procing near 100% of the time, it is very strong in group situations. I think once it gets fixed to be 10%, it's not going to be as consistent (but still strong).

Yea it took me forever to find rings even before Synozeer released his video.
Just ended up selling it cause the way it scales...Build I was going to use it for was Blazing Shield Templar like Syn but I just don't know how useful it would of been at doing a 2k aoe...
Think i'd rather just cheese people with Duroks/Fasalla Combo

Same, I thought about grabbing some pieces knowing that the prices would go up. I'd have to lose like 318 spell damage on an already low spell damage build to run it on my templar, so after spending like 10 minutes trying to find pieces at guild stores, gave up on it.
We did fight Hzarn last night, it wasn't really a big issue with blazing shield/storm knight. I called out trollpar and told no one to hit him and to kill him last. Prett is a more priority target, since he seems to just spam healing wards for all his allies. Fighting FMC, basically kill Braidas and Hzarn last. Go for their sorcs first and Subtomik is always a fan favorite to kill too.

And i have a hunch it will not be featured in your videos once its fixed and doesnt proc as much. ☺️

A sorc damage build running this set is absolutely deadly. (as long as you can keep it alive) It can proc disintegrate, as well as gets all the bonuses from the storm calling line and so on. Its not funny at all. The potential honestly scares me.
