I have several mage builds that I like to run with a Destro staff for DPS and use a Restro staff for self / group heals (or be a backup healer in group content). I have a DK Mage, NB Mage, s Sorc (Pet and DPS versions). What is the best Restro staff skill to use to be a healer? for speed, amount heal, magicka cost, etc

Agreed, however for larger group content such as trials I'd highly recommend healing springs as well.

In terms of pure healing, it's probably the best. And it's the only other Restro skill I'll slot unless I have to coddle
someone with healing ward. Lol

Try using guard on those people instead, sounds crazy I know... But try it
My main char is a templar healer, but I am mainly thinking what skills I can use for my alts who are not templars. They are mages too.

For a DK, you can buff your heals with Igneous shield while simultaneously granting everyone in range a damage shield.
Some DK healers use the Trinimac set as a result.
Avoid Cauterize, it's worthless
The stone fist morph is kind of cool though. it's a knockdown that burst heals the nearest ally to your target. Mine Crit heals for
11K. Usually shouldn't be slotted though, because it's really not substantial enough at increasing DPS, however, Standard
of Might should always be slotted. Combat Prayer will be your burst heal. Healing Springs your stackable DOT, and Mutagen
or healing ward your insurance policy.
Solo: Healing ward is the only one you needThanks all for the tips. I am thinking of heals for solo and group play for my alts. My alt builds are hybrids of a healer / buffer (2nd bar) and a DPS (as for 1st main bar).
