It depends on the armor but there have always been armors in this game that have had portions of them that refuse to dye. Typically these portions look like brown leather.

This what you mean? Or do you have armor that would dye completely before but does not now?

The imperial girdle (waist) is completely missing from the dyed armor options. Its not greyed out or anything, its just gone.

maybe armor was feeling left out with all the other things are that are broken.

You should try the heavy armor version of the Pact armor. Looks like a leather diaper. It's awesome.

And by awesome I mean, ew, and no thanks. Drove me to a costume. So, henceforth, it's quite reasonable to ascertain that the decision to make new motifs hideous, particularly on the female form (though, admittedly, the Pact chest looks much better on the female and does not have the leather diaper look), is to directly increase costume sales in the CS.
