Player Owned Houses

    I can't wait for housing.
It will make it more like the other ES games.
If we have storage, can stable our horses, improve our houses, that would be perfect.
My favourite house was the home in Skingrad in Oblivion, and probably the Sentinel house in Skyrim.
I pretty much bought all the houses you could in both games and had a lot of fun decorating them.
Being able to plant a garden! <3

I would really also like fields we could harvest for provisioning materials. :)

ya I have feeling the player housing in ESO will be nostalgic of Oblivion & Skyrim

Cheers mate to different playstyles in MMOs. I have never found much use for raids or non-public dungeons in an online game. But I have always enjoyed housing (EQ2, LOTRO and SWTOR are examples) and look forward to having my own place here in Tamriel as well.

    I love SWTOR's housing.

I love collecting junk and decorating my virtual home with it. I can't even count the hours I spent trying to get my home in Morrowind just perfect.

The guild houses in FFXIV are pretty cool. They're functional (access to storage, auction house boards, chocobo stables, etc), a great place to meet up with guild mates, and they really feel like a great collaborative effort to make them complete. Plus I like that they're easily viewable by other people so you can show off how awesome your guild is.

I'd love to see something like that here too.

If I get a house, I really want a big ole chest that adds at least 50-100 to my storage.

And I want to access writs from inside my house.

And I want all the crafting stations readily available right next to my house or in my house.

And a stablemaster who cares for my horse.

Otherwise, the utility is kind of lost on me. It was cool at first, the idea of it, but as time has passed, I've realized that without all the above, it's pretty damn useless.

Path Of Exile has a functional and highly useful "housing" system where you not only have access to your storage and crafting but can invite certain NPCs there that offer daily quests, daily random item sales and certain very useful services. You level those NPCs through their daily quests and random quests in the world and their item stock and services get better and better. You can only invite a certain amount of NPCs so you have to choose carefully which services you want access to.

In ESO housing I also want to see all the pets in my collection walking around, just for fluff.

Housing doesn't have to be useless if ZOS takes inspiration from other games.

Yo, Runescape housing was the reason I bought membership back in the day. I am stoked to see what they do with it here.

RP reasons. To bring back the sexy lass or lad to the house to seduce. Maybe some storage. Other than that it really is a waste of time/resources. But a great design to milk the consumers with microtransactions.

Because I apparently enjoy beating dead horses, can we just lay off the new additions to this game that will inevitably cause more problems than it already has until we fix all the broken stuff first? Throwing gas on a fire doesn't put it out, people.

Again, refraining from releasing new content doesn't fix the problem. The game's foundation is broken and funked. Its the dark truth; if it hasnt been fixed yet then it most likely will never be fixed.

ZOS said they refrain from fixing bugs if it breaks the game more. Which is why the game's foundation needs to be strong and tolerant of new additions. For if it isnt we get constant bugs that can only be fixed by remaking the game.

So instead of fixes that MIGHT break the game, they just sell you DLC's that will DEFINITELY break the game. Cool. Tells you all you need to know about how ZOS feels about the players.

i love player housing my self but pokemon go inside tamriel WOW yes please...jk.. does that mess with lore??? nintendos shares doubled with that game alone... and we know ZOS loves money!!!

SADLY ZOS is like EA make money and the suckers throwing money at them constantly makes it all good to not fix the issues quickly and properly... lose 1mill subs or players.. have a crown sale bring back the suckers then everything is forgiven till they mess it up or not fix the issues again !! it will end only needs ONE good mmo thats like this but without the unfixed mess that this is in and BYE BYE ESO !!! i really think there issues all started from the bugged release !! off the back of skyrim which really was amazing this game could have been AMAZING ..

I wish they'd start talking to us about what we can expect with housing. Like...

Can each of your characters have their own house?
Are houses an account wide unlock so that any of your characters may enter any house you have?
Can you designate specific players to have access to your house even when you are offline?
Can you designate your house to be open to one or more of your guilds even when you are offline?
Will there be specific guild housing that is different from player housing?
What actual utility will be offered with houses that will make them attractive to all players?

The added houses are in Reaper's March, Glenumbra, and The Rift...

I got in Reaper's March's house yard north of Dune... somewhat small compare to Glenumbra's house yard...

The first floor door into the house isnt ready yet it seems... will return here next patch

atleast they allow me out the gate though

    Play a game....within a game...It becomes inception like.

Still for games within this game there is the prospect of racing lizards and frogs and I hear tell of a Red Green Blue game too.

    that's possible in fallout 4...
