For the eight, how hard is to join a trade guild? Really, like 99% of them are casual friendly. 5~15K a week in sales or in donations isn't even that much for a nice and sexy well located guild trader.
Are you a anxious anti-social player and don't want to have any human interaction at all, neither using guilds or zone chat? THIS IS A MMORPG for the eight sake.
I have been saying it for the longest... ESO needs an auction house. But, because of greed and pettiness — people find every excuse in the book as to why an auction house would somehow be "bad" to the in-game economy. Lol.
I commend Zos for implementing a system that encourages supply and demand in the market place and where the community really determines the price of items. However, because we don't have a global auction house the giant most popular market sellers are dominating the most popular zones and are screwing the little guys. I was a member of a mega rawlinka trading guild. Let's face it, if your a seller and you want something sold, your a member of one of these mega guilds. I just received a notice this past week that we shattered a transaction trading record. Great! However, a few days later the decision was made to up the weekly membership requirement to either 50k transaction from 25k or 15k in raffles from 7k. I believe The decision was thinly disguised behind the idea that to stay competitive and have enough bank reserves the guild needed to do this? Say what? Didn't we just shatter a transaction record? Anyways here is the problem.
Without a global AH the little guy seller cannot compete with these megamarts. I can't afford to belong to a megamart which means I'm stuck belonging to a guild in a zone that anyone hardly buys from. Let's be honest, there are really only three zones that dominate the buyer seller markets. Rawlinka, deshaan, and storm haven. With rawlinka on top. Now, if we had a global auction house that ties all the trading guilds together, than everyone has a fair shot at selling their goods and wares and no one is held hostage to the giant Megacorps with rediculous membership fees. The result is I'm stuck to spamming zone chat in rawlinka to get materials sold and I'm broke because the megacorp ran me out of business.

Rawl'kha is where the high-volume traders are on AD, despite the Undaunted being in Grahtwood. At least on NA/PC.
That's because Rawl is much more convenient. Everything is close to the traders, including the portal to the Earth Forge and the bank, all the crafting stations are out in the open, even the stables are a few steps from the kiosks. That's not the case in Grahtwood, or any other town for that matter.

I always have best sales in Grathwood instead of Raw'kha, I always have trader in both locations... I have 9 characters in AD and i spent most of time in Grathwood and Raw'kla only.

I also have guilds both in Grahtwood and in Rawl, and more expensive stuff sells quicker in Rawl than in Grahtwood. The kioks in Rawl also have a bigger stock and go for higher bids.
I have ten characters in AD.

It's fine if you prefer Grahtwood to Rawl, but that doesn't make Grahtwood the go-to trading hub. Both spots are really popular. But there is a reason for Rawl to be a popular trading hub on all three factions, and it is because it is convenient.
Besides, the traders are the same for all factions. Rawl, because is so convenient, has high traffic on all three versions of the map. No wonder guilds bite each other's heads off for a kiosk there.
And I have only one character more than you in AD, why does that sound funny? lol
Rawl'Kha is the best trade city. So when One Tamriel hits, just turn Rawl'Kha into the "Trader Hub City" and add guild traders all over the city.
If you were a wandering Merchant, why would you NOT be in Rawl'Kha? That's where all the trade happens. Pack up your cart of goods and set up shop in Rawl.

Indeed. This thread is basically another person complaining about trading guilds.
Wonder how their stance will change tomorrow...

I'm in the same guild as you. The problem is that the sales taxes that go to the guild do not cover the price the traders go for. That's why the GM of the same guild was sending mails asking for people to donate to the raffle even if these people were well above the sales requirement and wouldn't be booted if they didn't donate.
Maybe if guilds could set the tax, this wouldn't happen. Or it would happen on a smaller scale.
