Most Annoying Things You Encounter In-Game?

"Can you take me through X Trial" (right now the question is Maw)

"You're an elitist" (when told that I won't trial run with anyone who isn't 160+)

"Why are you doing so much more damage than me"

"Your attitude is toxic" (when telling them why they are doing less damage withe same class)

"Where'd you get that cool staff" (maelstrom)

"Stop telling me it just takes time, Maelstrom is too hard" (when they inevitably fail to complete it on the first try)

"How did you make it through Maelstrom in an hour and a half?"

"You're so full of **** Shades, don't tell me you only need 12k dps in Maelstrom" (when I explain all of my strategies).

"Why do you run that set"

"Well yeah, but I don't think you're right" (when explaining the accurate math behind running a set).

There's so many other statements/questions that I hear on a regular basis. These are just my favorites.

It's not the question so much as the afterstatement that comes along with "Can you craft me...?" I don't have the mats but I can pay you.

That drives me crazy.

If you have the money to buy the mats, go buy the mats and then I'll craft you whatever it is you want, I'm not using my mats to craft you anything.

What drive me more crazy is when they say they only have 5K to give... And still use my hard earned CP 160 mats

For me it's people that ask if I can craft something but then never follow up with materials or an itemised list of what they are after.

There was actually one guy I had to kick from my guild after they repeatedly sent group invites to me and a number of other guild members for no apparent reason. They didn't ask to group, they just sent the invite.

so i started appearing offline when i go in maelstrom

now i get when will you be finished in sanctum/morkhaj i need armour/weapons/glyphs/food/potions crafted!

How about when they send you a real name request, you deny it, and they send it again (x10).

I think this happens a lot more to me because I'm a girl. What are they thinking? That I'm going to let them see my picture just because they ask incessantly? No game. No manners.

Just saying this thread is out of order, end of the day the person learns something from you, giving items to people helps the person I know some people can go over the line with that, but it's only a game.

I do ask my guild leader for items he can make, I'm pretty sure he had no problem in me asking him cause I gave him epic recipes in return which he didn't have

I get where you are coming from, but not everyone reciprocates in that way, or any way, for that matter.

For example, I used to have a crafting day on my stream. It was voluntary, and I did it to help new players who watched my stream that might otherwise have trouble connecting with a crafter that could make the tougher sets.

One guy, however, cost me 3 hours of my time, and he wanted more, because of his indecision. He had no idea coming in what sets he wanted and with what traits. He also happened to be with a friend, and they were both high. 3 hours passed and I gave him the little counsel I could about what sets work for stamina builds (not my experience, not my forte). We agreed on the first 5 piece set, and I was at my wits end. It was the first and only time I actually gave up on a commitment to someone to craft something that I had agreed to.

For me, I felt insulted that he had no sense of value for my time (and my viewers). I could have helped 5-10 different people in the time that I wasted with him.

TL;DR: what makes questions annoying is when they come from a place of poor character: asking questions that have been answered before, being inconsiderate, being selfish, or being entitled (expecting something without giving in return - even within your means).

I once had someone ask me why I was in crouch mode, I was "yeah ok whatever". I don't really RP much, but if I see someone else walking, I am more likely to toggle walk myself than get in a strop about it

I get it now and then too, particularly from low level players I tried to help.

order a craft and send me gold instead of materials. I can forgive that if it's a noob lowbie who has no clue about crafting, but when a cp500+ player can't lift their own butt and go buy materials, it pisses me off.
order crafted set in Imperial City DLC area, I go and make it - port out of the place, get told they ordered the wrong piece and want me to go back in and make them a new one. >.<
spam my mailbox with motifs, to make me craft them gear in those new styles - because they are too lazy to craft the sets themselves. They have all traits researched. I return all the mails, as I am only interested in crafting for those who can't craft ...and I get spammed 2-3 times more. This usually happens with new DLC patch.
order cp160 gear, sends me mail with the words: return me the leftover materials - I have crafting bag, it auto-stacks all the materials from mail with my own materials when I withdraw them, so I return the mail and ask them to count what's needed first and mail me only that - they start acting as if I'm asking for their soul. >.<
ask me to abandon my group while I'm busy inside a dungeon, to go craft for them because their trials will begin in 10minutes.

Further annoyances....

ask me to sell their shiny loot, so I put it in guildstore and wait - they ask me every damn 4min if it's sold yet, because they think I will steal their item. << I don't sell stuff for people anymore, due to the mistrust, it feels insultive and annoying to be treated like that, when all I do is to try to help them.
lowbie ask me how to earn gold, I explain how they can get a steady income - they ignore all my advice and start farming the same normal group dungeon over and over for blue and purple drops. Each run takes them 2-3 hours to organize and perhaps complete. A week later they ask me how to earn gold again.
