That happens to me quite often as well. But usually, I get asked by my friends who are good, or by lowbies (who I don't remember how I met) who want me to run a random dungeon. So in my case, it's a win-win.

Yeah, sometimes I don't mind it, its just sometimes I want to do other stuff, and I absolutely HATE doing silver pledges, but I do it anyway to help out my friends

Bow is a good weapon if you play your character like an archer and not like a damage dealer. It is the way in which they tend to play, which makes a bow bad for them - but it is actually a good weapon, if played in a different way than what they are used to. It is their limited view on playstyles which makes it bad for them, it is not the weapon, it is their idea of the weapon, which makes it bad for them.

To me it feels as weird or not weird as playing a Khajiit or an Argonian - if i am comfortable with that, why not with a male character. I know that he will never be and behave like a real male, but he doesn't have to.

The question I got a few days ago was - why do you play a FEMALE Orc - well, someone has to and why not, I do not think they are ugly.

I realised the other day that so many of my costumes are dresses, yet I don't have a female character. Luckily all my males look gorgeous in them!

I don't think some ppl understand the 'rpg' concept. I have in the past been accused of lying about being female because my characters are male. Funniest one was this guy in our pvp group who kept calling me 'kid' and referring to me as 'he', even after I corrected him. When he came onto our TS and heard me speak, he was so surprised & very apologetic for not believing me!

I wouldn't get annoyed at these.
Some people come from other games where grinding is necessary and they don't have a concept of not having to do that. I would just tell them that in this game they can level just fine by making sure they do all the zone content before moving on to the next. With the crafting I would just ask them for specifics, and if it uses expensive materials, tell them if they get it I can do it.

I prefer to educate people even if it gets annoying after that

I just get annoyed when someone asked me something ignorant like this: Sign our petition to allow cooking minorities in town forges. They got ignored and yes that did happen.

Or more recently: We need ZOS to build a wall here to keep the Argonians out, and make them pay for it.

Them: Morkuldin and Armor Master (**These are two of the hardest crafting stations to get to. They're also 9 trait sets.)
Us: Those are 9 trait sets and 1 of them is in IC. You probably should have started with that, but yes, I can make 9 trait armor.
Them: So can you make it for me?
Us: Do you have mats?
Them: I don't, but you're the crafter, right? How much for a full set of gold armor with your mats?
Us: [insert some super generous price here, better than anything they could get from a trader]
Them: My friend charges less.
Us: Then go ask him.
Them: He doesn't have 9 traits. (*facepalm, non-crafter logic.)
Us: Come back when you have your mats.
Them: Ok. I have the mats.
Us: What style?
Them: What would look good on a wood elf? I want glass.
Us: on everything? even the belt?
Them: Yes.
Us: What color?
Them: As far as you'll take me for free. My guildie makes it purple for me.
Us: Ok. (initiates trade)
*Non-crafter gives no trait gems (sapphire is expensive) and no malachite. Ugh...

I've never been asked anything annoying, but I've certainly had (and overheard) more than my fair share of extremely boring unwanted advice about "optimizing" my build, usually delivered in a nasal monotone by some vampire + FOTM race build in fuchsia (or black) tinted armor.

So, no annoying questions- that would indicate a level of interest in me, however ultimately self-interested the question was. But plenty of annoying "being talked at," by dudes who thought they were a lot more inventive and interesting than they actually were.

Me: Wait, what? What is a Vampire set?

Random: I need the set that makes you into a vampire.

Me: That's not how it works.

Random: Can you make me a Vampire set or not?

Random: I have some Spider eggs.

Me: Great, I have some Flour. Maybe we can make some Vampire cookies. Seriously, what the hell are you talking about?

Random: Hold on, my mom is yelling at me.

Me: Not sure I blame her.

Random: What?

Me: Nothing. Alright, you take it easy

Random: Wait, are you going to make the set?

Me: What, for free?

Random: Yeah. Cmon, man. Don't be a ****. I don't have any gold.

(3 minutes later)

Me: Accept the trade. It's free.

Random: Okay. So how does this work?...Wait, this is light armor. I use heavy armor.

Me: Look, to be a Vampire you have to wear 7 pieces Soul Shriven light armor. That's what I gave you.

Random: So how does it work?

Me: You need to kill at least one guard to start the Vampire quest.

Random: Okay, cool. Thx.

A: sure for 100k per hour I will grind as long as you can pay.

Q: hey can you give me some money?

Hilariously, I used to have a guild member that seriously thought I was a girl, because they'd only seen me logged in on female characters.

I've had people come into Teamspeak with me and have their mind blown when they hear I'm female because my main is a male. I mean... my main is also a tall yellow Elven wizard, were you really under the impression I was modelling this character after myself or...?

Hmmm, that's one area where I don't experience annoyingness from the game. Then again, I would would probably need to interact with people more (or you know, at all) to have that kind of issue.

This is what makes pvp exchanges so entertaining most of the times. The odd idea in so many peoples heads, that if i win, I was cheating. But if you win, you are just better then me.
