No grouping issues fixed in this patch?

The invisible group bug is quite a pain. I really hoped it would be fixed. Now you have to check with your team to see if they have joined the group when you don't see the group. Then you have to have them all leave, then have someone else reform the group. This along with the timer that locks you out of going into dungeons if someone has left a group means dungeons have become quite tedious, and interestingly, it's not the actual dungeons but the grouping mechanic.

    The grouping tool needs some major developer attention. This entire new DLC is focused on the introduction of two new dungeons.... that you will never even see because the grouping tool has been busted for months. It would be nice to spend some time just plowing through dungeon crawls, but I haven't been able to do that since they "fixed" the grouping tool.

    I had a lot less hassle when people would just randomly leave/disband groups :/

    I wound up finding a group this weekend with the group finder, but just that one time. Someone said the servers were reset that day so that's probably why it worked, but that doesn't address the fact that the finder is broken and requires a server reset to work.

    I don't think this patch fixed it at all. If anything it will work for a while because the servers were reset and then stop working again.

    I spent two hours in the group finder queued as a healer after this patch. Estimated wait for 3mins.... :| I gave up at this point and went and did something more productive

    • Fixed an issue where you would not appear to be grouped with other player characters after sending a group invite.
      • This also fixes the issue where it would appear as though a player character accepted an invite and immediately leaves.

    Is that not the issue?

    Oh, it's not like the ability to group up is a vital part of an online game which requires people to work together to achieve the tasks, is it :/

    No, in fact I hadn't even heard of those issues until reading the notes. The issues that were constantly brought up were the group finder not working, people failing to join a group when invited, and being unable to pass the crown.

    I was hoping it was, since i noticed nothing else about the dungeon finder in the patch notes. I was hoping the broken grouping was causing some of the issues.

    Yes that is one of them! Yay!
