Jokes aside though it's been /bug reported but it looks like something prepping for the fact that they've recently entered the Japanese market. Could be something flowing through from there.

I've seen people type in Japanese in zone . I have no idea what they are saying but it always makes me hungry for takeout .

We are aware of an issue where occasionally the phrase "Travel to Wayshrine" may appear in Japanese on the English game client. As we continue to work toward a resolution, the issue can be bypassed by completing any quests in the immediate vicinity of the wayshrine.
