Vma weapons drop from each round?

One of my guildies stated there is a chance for a vma weapon on each chest for each round. Is that true and if so, has anyone received one in the beginning of vma?

Yes they did. Remarkably the other chests are the only items in the game that don't come in training or prosperous...they are that bad they forgot about them.PC Master Race
