Come on ZOS, fix the Briarheart drop rate!!!

This set is not THAT good that it should take 200+ dailies to get the pieces you want. When Dark Bro dropped, the patch notes said that junk weapons were coming out to make room for set weapons. Nope.

I've done hundreds of dailies since DB on multiple toons...I have one freaking set of Briar c160. The drop rates are re-effing-tarded. This should not be harder than maelstrom weapons to get.

I got my full set in one afternoon by buying all the Wrothgar treasure maps from guild stores and then going on a chest looting spree.

If you have the Treasure Hunter passive you get a guaranteed set piece in each chest. Sometimes even two.

PS: As a byproduct, i also have a full set of the light and heavy armor (forget the names) that drop in Wrothgar.

Are you effing kidding me? God could this game favour stam sneak builds any more even if it tried? Those treaure hunter and fortune seeker passives should have been placed in a neutral constellation, not one that favours stamina and sneaking entirely.

And on topic, the fact that the *** sets from Wrothgar dailies are bind on pickup and not on equip is just another complete failure. This game has no sense whatsoever in what set items are BoP and which are BoE. Seems completely random which ones that are which. Should just make them BoE already and not forcing people to grind for months on end for your *** set items.

Believe me, I tried extremely hard to complete a set of CP160 Briarheart. Never worked out for me. Sitting at 4 pieces (two reinforced) but have lost the motivation and moved away from my Stamina Sorc atm.

Did you do this during the Orsinium patch?

They have obliterated the drop rates. The sets (Trinimac's Valor, Briarheart, Mark of the Pariah) drop less often and have what is likely a 1-5% chance to drop at CP160 when an actual piece of these sets drop.

It is impossibly rare. Using ~20-25 Cyrodiil/Wrothgar maps, I acquired 2 pieces of CP160 set gear. Call it RNG, but those were most real results

I stopped doing the Dailies after Dark Brotherhood. I only ever got one set piece of anything; the rest was all deconstruction junk.

And ALL of it was CP150. At least give me stuff that's my level if you want me to keep playing that part of the game!

But Wrothgar is a mess anyway. It's a shame, it was a beautiful area, but anymore it reminds me of The Neverending Story... You know, how the land Fantastica was being eaten by The Nothing, bits of it disappearing until the area got smaller and smaller, until it was saved by a human child who cared. Wrothgar needs a Bastian Balthazar Bux.

It drops in Cyrodiil chests right now. My guildies and I have gotten several pieces from Dolmen chests, and I even got a piece from a random intermediate locked chest.

rngeebus favoured me with my briarheart set, and i had a full V16 set in the perfect traits just 2 weeks after wrothgar dropped....

It's been a while, not sure exactly when i did this. Somewhere between the Thieves Guild DLC and the Dark Brotherhood DLC.

No clue what the CP150/160 ratio was back then but i did get a full CP160 set with the traits i wanted in one afternoon.
Of course there were plenty that ended up being deconstructed. The worst was getting the jewelry pieces, that took the longest.

I just wish I could've gotten Briarheart at CP160.

On the bright side, I have full sets with perfect trait of Trinimac's Valor, Mark of the Pariah, and Briarheart.... at CP150. About 55 Auric Tusks and 80 Potash stored from decontructing extra Maelstrom pieces along with these sets too

I wanted to run 2x Velidreth, 5x Briarheart, 3x Agility, Maelstrom Axe/Dagger and Master Bow on my Stam Sorc but it'll never happen.....

I have full Divines armor set and all robust jewelry, get jelly.

To @Vaoh, With the cooldown you may as well just use Hundings if you do not plan to use the Briarheart jewelry or weapons which really is its only saving grace. The heals are very minor and you lose all weapon power for 5 seconds which really just balances out to Hundings *if* you crit immediately..

Easy fix would be making the wrothgar sets bind-on-equip instead of bind-on-pickup. Then the briarheart sets would be in all guild stores, just like many, many other 160 sets introduced since...
