Is shadows of the hist a good dlc?

    Yes
My friend had an idea of something else connected to it for a higher price.

    So I was thinking:
    1. for the dungeon with DB, to have a small subguild (under assassins guild) with a small story around shadowscales with their own dailies, that would help you rank up assassins, but in a different way.
and for the dungeon with a temple to have a small temple guild, where you could know more about deities of argonians and something cool around that - it could be connected to alchemy and spirits.

    or
    2. for both dungeons, the DLC as it is now, but with cool cosmetic set of argonian priests/shadowscales/warriors, but for the same price.

That would give me a good reason to buy this DLC for this price.

It's alright i suppose, dungeons are fun and challenging. But here's a thing: i'm afraid that they'll nerf the dungeon as a response to qq - and that's when a dlc consisting of 2 easy dungeons only stops making sensr.

there is absolutely no reason to nerf it. the normal mode still drops everything in max level just blue not purple. so they can QQ all night and day there simply is no grounds for a nerf. its not like the old system where normal dropped completely useless *** that was not max level, so people wanted a nerf for a chance at actual max level gear on veteran mode, which is at least understandable.

True. I really hope you are right.
Skye Cloude - Sorc DPS, Master Crafter. Main, the bestest
Lae Lenne - Templar Healer Trial grade.
Dromede - Stamina Nightblade, she's a newb and doesn't know what she's doing
V'oghatta - Stamplar pretending to be a tank
Ulville Thonvella - aspiring Fire Mage, be careful around her fire sticks!
Dromedaris - lost and not found. Named after a shoe, what else can you expect from her? A proper tank in her wildest dreams
Swims-Naked - too pretty to grind, too silly to quest.
Sun Flair - Dunmer Templar that can't spell for life. To bad she's too broke to afford a name change... Well, at least she's pretty...

You get two Dungeons. I have been told that the dungeons are fun so maybe? If you are an ESO+ member you get the dungeons anyway along with costume dyes which might be of interest and if you are not running a sub or buying DLC then there was a massive base game patch which helps out with a some QoL issues.

I like all the updates and fixes.
Not DLC. Those are base game stuff, everyone gets them.

But I like Cyrodiil town capture, the scaling of old content etc. It's about time they did that.
    Also not DLC.

I will be trying the new dungeons sooooooooooon. The Mephala one looks very cool. Love Mephala.
The dungeons are actually the only stuff you get when you pay for the Shadows of the Hist DLC.

Its all DLC buddy... the entire patch is DownLoadable Content

Some you pay some you dont.

Go argue semantics elsewhere. You understood full well I meant the paid part only. If you're not a subscriber and you don't buy the Shadows of the Hist DLC you still get update 11, but not the... wait for it... DLC. Most games, even offline games, are routinely updated/patched through downloads, but that doesn't mean the industry has taken to calling them DLC. That term is usually reserved for paid content.

[Edit] Also, this is clearly what the OP meant since the question is whether or not to buy it.

Dont get pissy you got corrected while you were correcting someone else with misinformation.

He absolutely didn't get corrected. you and the poster HE corrected are in the wrong here. We all know what the OP is talking about. And all of us with half a brain know the difference between DLC and base-game patches

He absolutely did get corrected as you will too.

Your right we all knew what the op was talking about and none of us needed him explaining dlc so poorly.

And so you know for the future, the base game patch is dlc, free dlc.

Just so you know for the future, it's 'you're' not 'your'.
