To all lowlevel players out there: High level players come to lowlevel areas to farm mats (for dreugh wax) mostly (at least I do). And farming mats is a part of an MMO as well. Is it ruining the gameexperince? Perhaps, for some ppl it does, for some it doesn´t. Just deal with it. As long as this player who is higher level than you are following you and on purpose ruining your gamexperience I see no prolem with it.

I roflstomped a dolmen in Shadowfen a few times yesterday by a fishing hole I needed so I could go back to the peaceful ambiance of getting a billion fish I don't need instead of ominous music and daedra noises. And I wanted to see if I could kill everything before it had a chance to react. Whoopsie.

I went around to a couple Dolmens the other night to try to get "Savior of Nirn" and got hate just because I showed up. I hit a couple adds and waited for the low-levels to clear it, but still a couple of them came up to me with the "Move away from me" emote. I thought it was funny since I could only help them and not hurt anything they were doing, and still they were salty. What do they think it will be like when "Tamriel One" come along and they are sharing almost every zone with higher level players?

I go to low level zones on my Vet toons to farm for mats as the main reason. The other reason is that I just ground this toon up so I can use it in trials and dungeons and have yet to stuff in the low zone. So with needing to still do it on the toon to clear the level, and skyshards, skillpoints I am just completing and getting what I need. After I complete the place on a my Vet toon I only go to the place to farm mats or if crafting station near by example Torug Pact in Stormhaven.

I farm materials in lower levels areas in preparation for One Tamriel. If I don't have a stockpile when that comes out, I won't be able to do my free armor construction for my guild. So I need to stock up now. :)

This this this. I hate when I drink an xp potion go to the dolmen and a veteran player comes and instead of using a light attack he tries like he is running Maelstrom leaving nothing for the rest of us.
I get that you want achievements but use light attacks only from time to time please!

At the low level dolmens if I am the only near it I will clear it but if other players are there I only do enough attacks so that I get credit, There have only been a few times I do more then light attacks and that is if I see a few low levels players getting destroyed attempting the dolmen, since will not spend long time on something that I can clear in a short span so I can move on.

I think generals spawn in each faction area, so for example you can go to Grahtwood, Stormhaven or Deshaan to get the ogrim bros. (Last ones I need anyways) to avoid mixing with underclassmen altogether.

On a side note, can we get an emote that says "Pinion Patience, Please"?

Ahh it's funny to go to a dolmen and watch an overleveled player gap close killing, zipping across the battle without giving me a chance to get a hit in. You need to do a portion of damage to get credit for a kill and you are lucky if you can get one hit or ability in before the mob dies. Many times the only XP you might get is the XP for finishing the dolmen. I know they are trying to speed things up but it can be frustrating.

Would that be to encourage people follow the completely debunked urban legend that leaving the pinions open until the end makes the chances of a general spawning greater? Yeah I think the devs have better things to spend their time on.

But I'm the Vestige, the saviour of Nirn! It's simply too important to be left to newbie low levels... ;)

Occasionally I hang out in the starter zones entertaining myself by checking out what's happening. Sometimes I'll help someone who's low level if needed but usually with heals or just a nudge against enemies to help keep them from dying. Jumping in and ruining someone else's fun by clearing their low level area just seems so wrong in my opinion.

I am also against higher levels taking kills from lower levels myself, and I usually back down if I have nothing to gain from doing so when someone that does comes by, but I do understand the reason the high levels do it. It basically boils down to this:

    1. They are farming scraps. No matter what level you are anything that drops even Rawhide Scraps will drop it for you when you kill it. This in turn allows them to get Dreugh Wax easier, which for those that do not know, is required to upgrade Light and Medium Armor to Legendary quality and requires 8 Dreugh Wax MINIMUM to upgrade 1 Armor piece.

    2. Achievement farming. The Monster Hunter and Dark Anchor achievements are the primary reasons for this. So many kills and so much time spent that many people are too impatient to deal with it and want it done as quickly as possible, no matter what.

    3. Misc. reasons, such as the final XP from Dolmens or attempting to help lowbies in their group level faster (which honestly power leveling is practically non-existant in ESO, save power leveling yourself, for what that's worth...) or even thinking the lowbie needs help killing the thing.

The only other possible reasons to do it are to show off at their expense or troll them... Unfortunately it all boils down to netiquette, and frankly this game isn't the most vibrant in that field...

P.S. Teabagging is actually a double-edged sword because the way people do it in ESO makes them look like THEY are the woman trying to... I'll just stop there lol

I was passing through a Wrothgar dungeon with a new character that I had just leveled to vet. He inherited over 600CP BUT had not done any of the quests in Wrothgar.

While soloing one of the dungeons I was messaged by a lower level player if I could let them have some kills. I replied that I was only questing and passing through and that was fine by them. In a few minutes I was out of there with my quest and they had the dungeon all to themselves.

It's easy to cooperate so that everyone enjoys the game.
