Totally worthless . I got a Infused Heavy Helm yesterday though and will keep it . Just in case if they buff it .

This set is for lazy tanks who don't even want to swap bars to buff themselves . Stand there and block like a brick . Here is a setup for lazy tanks :

    5 Hist Bark / 2 Might Chudan / 3 Transmutation / 2 Endurance

    1.Bar :
    1- Pierce Armor / 2- Heroic Slash / 3- Igneous Shield / 4- Inner Fire / 5- Absorb Magic / Ulti- Warhorn

    2.Bar :
Lol there is no second bar .

Wow . Such build . No weapon swap at all !

Serious part of the comment :

It is Resist version of the Hist Bark set . If you can't afford to activate a buff every 20 seconds due to sustain issues , you use this set . That's it . Even more worthless than Hist Bark . Hope they give it Minor Vitality or something so it can be a useful set for PvP at least .

You call it lazy, but, to me, if you can design a build that performs as well while using half the ability slots available... I mean, that's a good thing, right?

Key words you used here are ''as well'' . When did you see a DD pulling 45k DPS with using 1 bar ? Can you support your group ''as well'' with only 1 weapon as a healer ? No ? Right . You can't do ''as well'' while tanking with 1 bar too .

Then that pretty much invalidates your complaint, then, doesn't it?
If the tank can't be lazy and still be an effective tank, then clearly this set does not encourage "lazy" tanking since both bars are still necessary.

    That was conversational judo.

As I said before in this thread , if you want to sacrifice unique buffs that other monster sets supply for 1 skill slot , that is your choice . Whether it encourages people to lazy tanking or not , it doesn't change the fact that this set is worthless compared to other monster sets .

I have a question. What makes Lord Warden better than Mighty Chudan? Chudan gives HP and resists 100% of the time. Lord warden only gives spell resist with one piece, an has to proc to do the other resist, which is much less , but I guess it also protects the party when it does proc?

    1) Please don't necro 4 month old thread
    2) Mighty Chudan is a named buff called major ward and major resolve which you can get from Skills like Spiked Armor.
Lord Warden is a unnamed buff and a group buff which stacks with things like Spiked Armor and affects the group as well.
Other sets like Blood Spawn have the same idea. It is an unnamed buff which stacks with Major Ward and Major Resolve while Mighty chudan does not

Every class has access to a major armor buff and using a better monster set is worth way more than 1 skill slot
