All characters and progression gone

Just blue screened traveling wayshrines and when i got back in it said my save was corrupt. Jus lost all my characters an hundreds of dollars i put into this game.

Be wary of traveling.

    My save file came up as corrupt last week after crashing out of the game. It still let me log in and came up with a box asking if I wanted to overwrite/recreate it and I said yes - everything was fine.

    The only thing I lost was my settings for game sound, area/guild chat, etc - all in game data and progress was fine.
    Australian on PS4 NA server.
    Everyone's entitled to an opinion.

    This must never happen.
    The save file only contains local settings,
    characters are stored remotely on the ZOS servers.

    If characters are damaged/lost because of a failure,
    you should contact ZOS support to restore your characters.
