Nope. Price is too high to do any of these changes. Changing race would require a name change also and there is just no way on Nirn I am shelling out 3500 crowns to do it. That's insane.

Initially I had planned to change a few characters and even change the same character multiple times to try different build ideas.

As the token is a bit more expensive than I had hoped, going to wait a while for further racial passive balance changes and perhaps some sort of discount sale on the tokens at some point.

If the racial balance doesn't change much from what it has been, then a few stamina characters I will change to Redguard and some magicka characters I will change to Altmer.

It's not quite a matter of the player failing to invest 5 minutes in researching races when creating the characters. Initially racial passives didn't make as much difference due to softcaps.

Not only do some of these passives now make a much bigger difference without softcaps, but also many of the racial passives have changed and will likely continue to change.

There are some who have put in 1 - 2 years on a character, playing massive numbers of hours to reach alliance rank grand overlord for example, maxed undaunted mettle or unlock many achievements etc. The announcement got a lot of people thinking they'd have a chance to try other builds with that character they've invested so much time into, and there are some builds out there which are only possible with one or two specific races.

Not changing race on any characters. Some (like my nord sorc) may not be 'optimal' but its who they are, and to me to change this would be like playing a completely different character..

For me, I run one character (320 sp) and played since PS4 launch. My build today and even the racial passives have changed pretty significantly since launch.

I suppose that can be true of some builds, I tend to be more stubborn and if something about my build has changed (I've had a DK magicka build since Beta) I just stick with it and consider new ways to do what I was doing before. I dunno, I just always figure its like rolling up a new character in my gaming group, no one asks the GM for a race change, they grab a new sheet and crack open the book.

my pve stam dk (was created as imperial because I though he was gonan be a PvP char) will become khajit,
all other chars will remain for now.

however, i got two of each. I will no longer maintain a magicka/stamina categorization but pvp/pve. If I feel a different archetype (stam/mag) is better for pve/pvp, I'll change races accordingly. It just feels terrible to advance a char from alliance rank 25 to 26 when you have another one of the same calss sitting at 39, waiting to finally advance into star-territory

cheaper to buy a new character slot and level it up in a few days....that way you can chose the race you want, the name you want and the appearance you want all in one

initially i was going to change my magicka Templar to Altmer (I made it a Redguard about 2 years ago), but recently I have just been levelling up the Stam morphs and the weaps of choice and will just pay some in-game gold to re-spec into a Stamplar

I am loyal to my khajiit, so I can't! The races they are all match their characters, even my Altmer temp. Being based off one of my characters in Dragon Age Inquisition, being a mage and healer suits him well.

Hell no. Way too expensive, I'd rather delete character and make another.

Maybe if crowns are half off, for one character. 3000 is way too expensive.
