I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone. All factions played very well and deserve thanks and appreciation for their participation in the July True Flame Campaign. It was without question one of the more enjoyable summer campaigns. AD won the honor of claiming victory, not because of the zerg, as so many claim, but because they had population on off hours. This is a very hard mechanic to address and like any game that runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week, there are bound to be lop-sided populations. As I have heard, over the last few months, True Flame is the only competitive campaign. Well I wouldn't go that far to spread that rumor, but it certainly is the one to play on.
Over the last 12 days AD overcame the EP lead and surpassed it. AD focused on uniting and playing the map with solid strategies that paid off in the end. EP and DC held the North American prime time pop slots without question because every night AD was forced to defend the south over and over from a combined EP and DC horde. This is how the game was intended to be played; so I will not cry or complain about it. As a faction, AD worked together, we focused on defense and offense at the appropriate times and managed to hold all that we could.
We also saw the exodus of AD from Haderus to True Flame. This was not unexpected. Overall AD simply does not have the PVP players to mount a solid balanced campaign fight across all the servers. I can, of course only speak for my guild, when I say "I am happy to have the new AD players on True Flame." As I have always believed in a strong AD guild coalition as the key to a healthy cooperative and balanced faction. I also want to announce that over the last 60 days the AD zone chat has improved immensely. The toxicity that plagued AD has dissipated. Yes we still have those who create minor blips of negativity and those who openly engage in zone chat espionage. But for the most part, I do believe that pride, honor and a solid sense of healthy play has returned to AD. Summer has arrived!
So without being anymore long winded than I usually am; I wanted to thank every AD guild that participated either as part of the small group fights or the organized raids because without your efforts this would not have been a victory...Congratulations.
I also wanted to thank the opposition. For without each of you, player and guild alike, we would have had nothing to do. I have seen some of the finest players on both factions play their best. I have seen you fall on the field as many times as we have died on the field. The fighting has been intense as well as relaxed. We have laughed with each other, looked with awe on what we both
were able to do, and have chosen to not walk away and give up, but to continue to have FUN. I tip my hat and shake your hands for the hours of enjoyable entertainment we have provided each other. Please understand that I respect you and your groups and hope that we have finally come to a mutual level of respect. Please continue to be part of the TRUE FLAME experience.
So in closing I wanted to share the last nights July 27 video. We were running constantly, literally defending every single southern keep over and over. Great job on keeping the pressure on AD to the very last hour.

Come on EP...
There is almost no actual pvp, just 50+ clusters going to every flag and turning everything into a 999+ slide show. Anything lights up, a resource, an outpost, someone spots you in a random field and it's a faction event, all hands on deck, send everyone and every siege.
Why a single guild takes 50+ players to a resource is beyond me. It's not epic. It is lazy and bad PVP.

Nah, you can beat ping, macros and ce with skill. You can't win reactive malubeth magplar. Just bang your head on your hurricane wrobble poster.
