Not looting any weapons from the Wrothgar sets.

As per the patch notes:
I've run the daily quests many times over (lost count) in addition to farming chests and treasure maps and I have not received a single weapon, just armor and jewelry pieces. Is anyone else having this issue? I have roughly 100+ pieces of the Briarheart, Pariah and Trinimac sets sitting in my inventory!

- Added weapons to the Briarheart, Trinimac's Valor, and Mark of the Pariah sets.
- These weapons now drop from the Daily Recompense boxes obtained for completing dailies in Orsinium, just as the armors and jewelry of those sets do.
- The chance to obtain non-set items from these boxes has been reduced to make room for these weapons.
I've run the daily quests many times over (lost count) in addition to farming chests and treasure maps and I have not received a single weapon, just armor and jewelry pieces. Is anyone else having this issue? I have roughly 100+ pieces of the Briarheart, Pariah and Trinimac sets sitting in my inventory!

✭✭✭✭✭I received one 2 handed Axe of the Pariah. Cruddy trait. My guess is they drop but in every weapon type and every trait making it nearly pointless anyway. You'd have to farm for 6 years to get one you want.3 -

The Axe was from a daily box? I'm missing a briar heart ring, neck and daggers but as I said before the weapons literally aren't dropping at all for me.- - -

Teronell✭✭✭They drop but the rng is pretty bad. I run the solo daily 7 times a day and have seen one briarheart weapon since DB release.
I have had trinimac melee weapons drop though1 -

✭✭✭I've gotten a Shield of the Pariah, several Briarheart ice staves, a Briar sword and a Briar Maul, and a couple of Trinimac battleaxes.

kuro-dono✭✭✭✭i am forced to run wrothgar dailies with 5 alt to have chance to get the stuff what i want inside 1-2 month instead of 5 month since the garbage they are mostly filled with is cp 150 and definetly not anywhere near the piece you want. First time it took me bloody 5 month to get my first trinimac amulet, now chasing another 5 month trinimac valor shield?2

✭The Wrothgar RNG is real.
It will take forever to get CP 160 weapons.
However, that RNG is the reason Wrothgar is still alive and kicking for such a long time after release.
I am actually glad I have at least something to do in this game besides PvP.
They ruined my Undaunted daily grind with the Cyrodill Golden vendor.
I could not care less for TG or DB. At least not without the completed Justice system.
If I did not have Wrothgar dailies, the only thing I could do is go to the totally neglected Cyrodill full of exploiters and/or cheaters.
Meaning I would likely quit the game.
HAH! Must be the first time somebody is glad to have horrible RNG.1 -

✭I've never gotten any weapon from the daily repeatable quests drop or any treasure chests, but I have gotten some from the thieves troves. Not just in Wrothgar, Iuckily I ran into some other troves in other areas and gotten a few good weapons like the nightmother, darkstride greatsword, bow and staff. I normally put those on the guild stores. However, since the DB release, I've not run into a trove that has a weapon drop.0 -

So far I have none
Pariah should be a tanky set... so with the DB changes to the Traits...

So being tanky in Pariah means now to Roll Dodge instead of Blocking.....

brairheart daggers and few more. All of the weapons were from daily world bosses quests, maybe that will help.
Just bad RNG.
Quick edit: If We could get a fix for those 3 sets, like removing resto staff from stamina based set and Sturdy trait for Pariah set(like mentioned above it does not exist) that would be great.Edited by Dexter411 on June 18, 2016 6:13PM0 -

So from what people are saying so far it seems that:- Briarheart, Pariah and Trinimac weapons do not drop from either treasure maps or chests
- The weapons are dropping from daily quests but from my sample of 5 chars from roughly of week of running the repeatable quests has gotten not a single one...yay RNG!

✭i opened over 80 treasure chests yesterday (all across tamriel on multiple characters - on different factions) and not a single pariah sturdy/ briar well fitted glove, belt or boot; when i think of all the ones i probablly deconstructed before i they announced the change!!!!!!!!0 -

✭✭✭✭✭At this point... they -really- should drop the "bound" status from wrothgar weapon sets and let the guild stores take over... or at the very least, give us a -much- increased chance of CP160 stuff from doing things there...
As for the weapons... got a briarheart greatsword the other day, only blue 150, but still... they do drop, its just... the gods of the die roll feeling like tormenting us.1 -

✭Bah! Even the armor and jewelry drop almost exclusively in blue CP150 crap-trait vendor trash anyway. All weapons have done is further dilute the already terrible RNG tables. The sets from Wrothgar are interesting but I could run dailies until my hair goes gray and never put together a usable set. Just not worth it and adding weapons doesn't change that.
The thing that would change it is to remove underleveled gear from the RNG loot table for CP160+ players. I shouldn't get CP150 gear from daily quests in a CP160 zone ever; not for any reason. Drop in green and blue quality, who cares, but drop them at level.6 -

I totally agree with this. If I am doing CP160 quests, killing CP160 mobs, the drops should be CP160. Get rid of the CP150 drops please.1 -
