You buy a product then it gets broken. You go to a technician asking him to fix it. He tells you not to touch the certain product untill he finds out how to fix it. How long do you have to wait? Debatable of course but nevertheless this is how things work out in this case.

Hell I wouldnt step into Cyrodiil for a month if they promise to fix lag

    Still Waiting for a fix.....

@UltimaJoe777 true but it's been like this for a long time and it's something you pay for and can't use that the issue

The concern is valid. I'm avoiding Wrothgar for now despite wanting to play there with one of my alts. Its perhaps the best designed zone of the game overall, and sadly its the least playable right now. This reminds me of STO when they ruined the Ds9 Fleet Action. I really hope they don't do here with NCSOFT did to the DS9 Fleet Action (I'm still bitter about that, and that's like 5 years ago).

So what is an appropriate amount of time to wait until we get a refund for not being able to play the DLC ???

I completely agree. If the problem was new, fine. But the issue with crashing in Orsinium has been around since launch of the DLC but nobody at Zenimax did anything or acknowledged the issue. Check the forums. So it is completely reasonable to want a refund if you purchased the DLC outright and you cannot use it.

The thing that really upsets most of the people I've talked to is not that we cannot do the quests, etc., it's that the top level writs are linked to the DLC for turn in. If the writ turn in were literally anywhere else, I wouldn't care about Wrothgar and would never return. Just move the writ turn in location.

Long story short my main got stuck in Wrothgar for a few days getting sent to dashboard over and over.

I sent in a ticket to have it moved to a new location and in 24hr the character was moved, awesome right! But then I read the email saying "we moved ur character but stay out of wrothgar until we can find out what the issue is with characters getting stuck in the loops, we won't be able to move your character a 2nd time."

This is bull crap! I pay for ur damn dlc and ur telling me not to go to a location I pay for and if I do my character is lost until you get ur crap together a fix the broken zone thats been broke for 4 maybe 5 months!?!?

Am I the only one that thinks this is pathetic? And why can't they move it a 2nd time?

If they spent all their time moving people out of a zone that they constantly get stuck in despite knowing they WILL get stuck if they go back they are wasting just as much time moving these people as those people that keep going back only to get stuck again.

Seriously, if you go back and get stuck again knowing full well the zone has issues it's on you, not them, because they warned you it'd happen...

    LOL seriously.... *** dude
they sell us broken laggy crap and Your solution is "well to bad, guess i dont use what i paid for"....?
Thats the most backward reasoning i ever heard
There are rules against things like this, in short, they owe the OP a refund

Long as you have used the product you got your money's worth. The only way they owe anyone a refund is if both of these conditions are met:

1: The consumer decides to revoke their DLC access because they never got to use it.
2: They have no intention of re-purchasing the DLC later on.

Not my solution by the way, nor what I said. It's broken right now but not forever so for the time being all that can be done is avoid it to avoid getting stuck. Sucks, I know, but that's just how it is right now.

That first statement is like saying if you order a steak at a restaurant and you bite into your first bite you find a piece of someone's *** hair and don't take another bite you got your money's worth lol.

Most companies that offer a service give you back rebates when you cannot access it normally.

For instance, FFXIV gives you extra subscription days when their services are not working. And the evil TIme Warner deducts from my monthly bill when they are having technical issues and I am not receiving services for a day or longer.

How can ZOS or anyone defend them continuing to sell the DLC in the store while it has not worked correctly in over a month and they are telling people who have paid for it not to play it. It should be pulled from the store until it is working as intended, a disclaimer should be put on the ESO Plus benefits that the DLC is currently not working as intended, and at this point refunds should be offered.
