Nice build man, I actually like your CP spread a lot. I haven't played with so many into spell erosion or bastion so I might have to give that a go!

    misleading title
Supernico - VR14 DragonKnight - Daggerfall Covenant - Former Emperor

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

Gotta be honest, I'm feeling pretty underwhelmed right now. Magicka DK is still in definite need of buffs, but to call it "unplayable" is an exaggeration. And Seducer + Bloodspawn is a pretty standard and low damage setup. I'm glad you're enjoying a new class, but a build video, really? I need to see the fights.

If you 3 hit people I'll eat my own hand. The penetration on this build is the same as any other light armor build with a sharpened sword.

That is a nice mix. You have enough CP in Thaum to hit well, but I would be more comfortable with a bit more in there, as it buffs about 80% on your bars. In all honesty 22 points could be enough, as you'd need those points into pen to make up for your sword being defending. In reality you are missing just less than 10% additional aoe increase.

75 in thaum is good for a powerlash build, as you get the exploiter passive, and that number in thaum would buff your whip to little over 1k in damage.

Its a medley to give your light armor more resist instead of doing it through CP, so you can bastion more. It is defiantly interesting and I am looking forward to seeing it in action.

May try this when I get race change next week.

I run 75 elem, 75 thaum to get the exploiter passive. Rest in spell pen. A few pts in healing. This that is a good setup for DK. Remember that off balance bonus damage applies to ALL skills. Power Lash is the easiest to see, but all your DoTs should be running.

Also, 75 in thaum buffs DBoS to respectable dmg levels. With 2.5-3k buffed spell dmg, 35k mana, and 75 thaum you DBoS tooltip should be close to 28k. if you can Empower-Lash-DB-exhale that is a killing combo.

Yea this happens when you balance NB burst around how much a templar can heal. Leaves the rest of us kinda scratching our heads.

@Blobsky Watched a bit of the stream. You did some good work, i admit. What do you think of a dampen magic/mist form combo? You didnt seem to get grouped to hard from what i saw, but rarely do you fight less then 3 people on ps4. Is there a better combo to midigate dmg you know about?

Usually the fight goes, embers, engulfing, get feared, eat instant incap strike+ SA+Light attack before it is possible break the fear, now 1/3 to half your HP is lost (depending on how many HP you run) and you have unblockable heavy weapons bleed ticking on you for 2000/second, poison injection 1500/ second, and are standing rooted from rearming trap, taking another 1000/ second DOT.

Now you have the option to start blocking murdering your stamina while the NB continues to wail on you, or drop the block to try regain stamina and die in 2 seconds to all of the above plus unblocked SA spam. Meanwhile if you somehow managed to damage the NB, he will hit cloak, vigor, rally, and reappear at full life 2 seconds later to fear you again and repeat the whole sequence.

The worst thing is you are experienced, you know exactly what he is going to do, and there is *** all you can do about it.

@sharee your only chance against a full stamblade assault is to fossilize+immovable pot before they can get their opening burst off. If you can do this, you can mitigate most of their opening burst through blocking/shields/mist form. Since these are low regen builds, you can outlast them. It's really hard to kill them though because they have cloak, higher mobility, better healing, and shuffle than a mDK does.

    Indeed.

The only way to win the fight is a fossilize-meteor-whip-exhale combo. And you have to pray that nothing is dodged via shuffle.

No one with a little effort put into their build did run out of resources since patch 1.3 when zos changed the sets to be 5 piece based.

The only thing that has changed is there are less ppl with "zero theorycrafting builds" running around due to:
    - build videos
    - less players in general (with the ones remaining being more experienced)
